Most likely to be a conversion. The South African ones didn't get that style of front end either.

I had no idea! I thought the Zetec was a Ford design and so were all later variations. Apparently not, so the first engine type called Zetec (Zeta) was exclusively a Ford design, but the newer Sigma was a collaboration? Huh. Every day a school day and all that...

Thought not, supposedly he did only a handful of mk2S ( not that there were a lot of mk1S) & only one sierra sapphire.
