@eddyramrodmobile; almost perfect spec, pez, spanish with overdrive.

Downsides; there must be about half a ton of wob in this thing, the arches are truly a work of art.

Can these really carry 1100kg?

Bit rude, I'm sure he has a minor weight problem but very much doubt he is 1100kg.

It's even a JAG!  Right engine, wrong box (but I expect that); not a plain van but not many of those have survived; Listing Not Available so I guess someone snapped it up.

I used to go there to get parts for my 3 1/2 Sport. They are still in business as Lusso Veloce. I wonder if they still have any Morini parts left, especially a cam belt.

Lusso Veloce - Specialist and collectible vehicles

PS Despite the modern looking frame and plastics, the Dart has the old Sport 344cc engine under that plastic. They put out almost 40bhp, so you'll struggle to loose your licence on it.

I used to use North Leicester for parts, when WeeVee (Benjy Straws place) in Croydon did not have them for my modified 1974 3½ Strada. Had matching engine and frame numbers, but everything else had been changed. Benjy knew the bike's history, which was strange.

I sold it after I left in my garage for 12 years, as I got fed up chasing the cause(s) of its persistant misfire. Bloke who bought it was going to do a full restoration, in my eyes pointlessly expensive. It was never taxed or MOT'd again.

I can't lie. If I had 4k burning a hole in my pocket, there would be worse things to spend it on.

Would you all disown me if I turned it into a turbo rep?

We'd rather you put the Turbo running gear on, and kept it looking standard.

The one in the ad above, 1.9d? That's not a BL engine, is it?

You're right. That's my kind of bag.

Was following a completely debadged Golf R32 yesterday that looked like a baSE.
I always wanted an old skool debadged BMW M3 with hidden tailpipes.

Honda SS50 5 speed | eBay

5 speed with a 4 speed front end, though apparently some were made like this. Anyone who says an SS50 was faster than a FS1E or AP50 was hallucinating though.
