Why does every single one of these have to be rotten? They are equally as rare in Germany yet the ratio of cars needing thousands in bodywork and cars not needing rust repairs/paint is a completely different one.

A climate which is the next best thing to storing a car underwater combined with the fact it won't fit comfortably in most garages.

The looks good from a distance, but being an older resto it is probably held together with lots of Isopon. just depends how the floor is under the underseal.

Lot 17 - 1966 Triumph 2000 (wbandsons.com)

Already comes with a substantial tide mark and missing sill trims for that genuine 1970s look. It's a late pre-facelift so has vynil seats. Also has facelift steering wheel with pre-facelift white dials. Also weirdly it has rubber faced overriders on the back but full chrome ones on the front but that may be part of its restoration*.

But prefacelift estates are very rare, I mean they always were, there was only a small crossover between the estate coming out and the facelift arriving.

And it has  a red interior and for that reason alone I most definitely would.

Seems like a bargain, even with that many miles!

The ad is so full of red flags it may as well be a game of minesweeper though.

Can vouch for the 3.2 saloon version of those being absolutely rapid.

Erm yes. Very much so.
