I would love these for the workshop but ridiculous distance between is ridiculous.

I'll have a CD player please Tim,  don't mind which if anyone else is picky.

Actually if one came out of a Vauxhall I'll have that,  last time I swapped the head unit over I flattened the battery as the clock display stopped going out with the ignition.

Did you want it posting or shall I see about shitleying it?

They're all aftermarket ones to my eye Rich - the top two are Sony Xplods. I have the top black one in my Volvo at the moment and it's an ace unit, sounds good and very easy to use (and the silver one below is nigh on identical). I paid £20 for one and it's cracking.

BTW the Sony ones have black displays with white letters and the buttons light up red. About as subtle as they come though. Manual should be easy to find online and if not I can scan mine for you.

Matching/breeding Pair of 185/70R14 tyres given to me by Danthecapriman for the Yaris, they don't fit because I'm a dullard and it needs 175/65R14s. I tried and they foul the arches something chronic.

Both date stamped 2015 I think, have been stored in the dry and out of sunshine. 7mm tread on both

Shackles, all good, from large to medium in size. If you want one or all they're free plus postage. attachicon.gifIMG_20180129_181308962.jpg

The big one is bloody heavy, left over from when I drove a D8 so a bit over the top for snatching off Mondeos.

Shackles look useful for somebody who does this sort of stuff!

WANTED REQUEST PLEASE

Would anyone have a set of wheels for a Volvo 240?

Steels are fine and tyre condition does not matter. I need to be able to move the blue project car around and currently it’s mostly on flats that won’t hold air.

Free would be preferable, in keeping with the project car and they can be returned, eventually (once some alloys are procured for the finished project).

Any help greatly appreciated, please drop me a message.

A bump for this posting, if anyone can help.

Yes please Huw , I might be able to find you some suitably sized

Mitsimigma you get in first but interest registered 6C!

I caved and bought some new ones from the place that trial fitted these to discover they didn't fit the Toyota so these are 100% surplus to requirement for me. Let me know if you want to pick them up or Pm and we can arrange a courier.

I'll keep you updated

I'm trying to get this old Citroen ZX radio cassette working, it needs a security code which I don't have. Presumably deciphering it from the serial number is possible, but does anybody have a means of doing it?

post-132-0-31134400-1517354293_thumb.jpg

Failing that, can it be determined from the registration number? It will be either K58WEL or L944JTM, but not sure which. Thanks in advance!!

Craig - yes both of these are possible. If you ring a Citroen dealer they are usually happy to give you the code. I did this with the Nissan we used to have and the local Nissan dealer were only too happy to help, and was free too. Pretty impressive that they keep records that long really!

Also there are various websites where you can put the serial number in and it'll give you the code. This is a bit hit n miss though, the Nissan's Blaupunkt just wasn't on there, and some are free and others you have to pay a couple of quid to use.

Cheers Stanky! I'll give the supplying dealer a call and see if they can help.

Switch radio ON, display shows "Cod"

Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st digit

Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd digit

Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd digit

Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th digit

Press tuning up button "^" to enter the code

Can't thank you enough for doing that EH!! Thats produced the same codes as were scribbled on the top of the unit. Sadly, neither work!

Wanted a front bumper and spoiler for a 2005 Saab 93 sportwagon, Vector trim level with the headlamp washers and front fogs. Colour Fusion Blue. Either whole assembly or without the washers & fogs. Local breakers don't have any 93's without stoved-in front ends.

I'm near Bognor Regis, West Sussex and don't mind travelling up to 75 miles collect.
