loserone Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 What kind of number of pictures of the queen are you after DW?
dollywobbler Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 What kind of number of pictures of the queen are you after DW? £800, though a splash more if I put a fresh test on it (it's out next month). LightBulbFun 1
egg Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 I think you've done the Favorit brand a power of good DW, I hope you enjoyed the experience as much as you hoped. I think everyone here should own one or a Felly at some point. dollywobbler, GrumpiusMaximus and LightBulbFun 3
Yoss Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Or preferably both at the same time. *Watching with interest * egg and LightBulbFun 2
dozeydustman Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 I was only thinking the other day after you'd fitted the Skoda roundel to the tailgate you'd be selling soon. GLWTS and I hope it stays in the fold. dollywobbler and LightBulbFun 2
LightBulbFun Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 I was wondering what the next to go on the fleet, and I was genuinely not sure which it would be I guess the skoda makes the most sense since it was a case of "I want to experience one before there all gone" type of thing if I was not chasing invacars I could probably afford this, ah well, GLWTS as always, and as others say hope it stays in the fold
Zelandeth Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Good luck with the sale! Honestly if I had space I'd have your arm off at that price. I really fancy sampling one of these after several Estelles...though I might need to retrofit the Mk I instrument panel simply because those warning lights are so cool. I reckon you'll miss this one, a real jack of all trades. LightBulbFun 1
GrumpiusMaximus Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 This is a great car, DW. Shame to see it go from you really as it seems like all the car anyone would ever need. I really hope it stays in the fold. If my circumstances permitted, I'd bite my arm off to have it! LightBulbFun 1
dollywobbler Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 I have had a very strong offer in, so might be sold. You know, one problem might be that it's a bit too good. It's a little charmless because it's just so capable. GrumpiusMaximus, Broadsword, egg and 1 other 4
Fabergé Greggs Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 It was definitely the most car-like car I ever owned. Both a positive and a negative.
dollywobbler Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 Typical. Deal agreed on this, for a good price too. Went for a drive and it stripped the rear wiper gears. Cars know. egg, Remspoor, loserone and 1 other 4
Isaac Hunt Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Typical. Deal agreed on this, for a good price too. Went for a drive and it stripped the rear wiper gears. Cars know.Chances are the potential buyer has not got a bidet and is thus not accustomed to the use of said rear wash wipe. Same individual probably looks for the bidet instruction manual when in a hotel such equipped. So it should not affect a sale
Broadsword Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Cue excited anticipation on what Mr. DW will buy next! LightBulbFun and Six-cylinder 2
dollywobbler Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 Cue excited anticipation on what Mr. DW will buy next! I wouldn't get too excited. It's free. I have a great reputation with free cars... Oh and the MOT runs out in a few weeks. Broadsword 1
Broadsword Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Can't go wrong with a free car... probably.
dollywobbler Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 Can't go wrong with a free car... probably. The last one went well*. GrumpiusMaximus, Broadsword and Fumbler 3

dollywobbler Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 Oh. Apparently it isn't free. That makes it even more exciting.

mk2_craig Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Oh. Apparently it isn't free. That makes it even more exciting.Someone's paying you to take it? mrbenn 1

dozeydustman Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Perhaps the Skoda doesn't want to leave Fumbler 1
MorrisItalSLX Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Delightfully shonky. At least it didn’t fall off entirely, and you now have high(er) quality double sided tape in stock.
dollywobbler Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 MOT pass! The tester was annoyed by the strange rattle. He couldn't find the source. I did when I got home. It's the sodding door check strap in the offside front door! Open the door and it goes away. LightBulbFun, MorrisItalSLX, egg and 9 others 12
320touring Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Well done on MOT pass! You'll need to drive to the nearest ASDA to sort your check strap out for a full Jim Bell type approval egg and mrbenn 2
dollywobbler Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 Well done on MOT pass! You'll need to drive to the nearest ASDA to sort your check strap out for a full Jim Bell type approval Oh dear. I must have missed something as the reference is lost on me. Gave this thing a good cleaning (again!) today, though slightly annoyed at myself for losing the vast service history. Where the bloody hell did I put it?!

Remspoor Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 FFS! Because it is HubNut?Good to read about the MOT pass.
skoda_fan Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Well done on MOT. Random thought as I look at the pic: thank you for NOT lowering it as seems to be the must-do mod in Skoda circles...I've no idea why. LightBulbFun and egg 2
