Great. I'll find out if Tuesday works for the seller and let you know.

@Ohdearme  Tuesday is good for the seller. Any idea what time you will be arriving?

@egg it might be worth smiling sweetly at @Six-cylinder who should be returning from Tavistock to Bucks next Sunday in his (latest) new car. Assuming the Rio he's kindly driving down there for me doesn't let him down!

Anyone near Tavistock who is travelling Eastward at some point in the next 6 months?

I might have a bid on this guitar if someone could please collect on my behalf.

I don't see a problem collecting it Saturday pm or Sunday am if you win. The only thing is there is still a fair distance between us as it will end up in Buckingham.

@Six-cylinder - thanks for the kind offer, I will email the seller pronto to see if that pick up time would be convenient (should I win).  Buckingham brings it range of another relay, so that would be great. Thanks.

@Six-cylinder - seller is available most of Sat PM and til 10:30am Sun morning. I'll have a bid. They are only £149 new these guitars, but still, money saved is money saved, I have played this model and know it is serviceable.

The Guitar above is now in the helpful hands of @Six-cylinder, if anyone is coming from his way to Kent area or anywhere close, that would be great please.

I could fetch guitar from Mr6C  at Buckingham and get it to the M25/M1 crossing at Watford.  I can store for a few weeks. If it helps.

Won't be going any further south east this side of whenever sorry

But at least it gains 50 miles and the hour of extra travel

Anyone heading from the Midlands towards Abergele who could drop a battery off at Tayna for me, don't fancy posting it for them to check it's faulty!

Wanted: Someone to help a brother out - Essex to Coventry:

Item in question is a long, very fragile chrome strip for my 1969 BMW. The guy who has it is based in Essex, right where the M25 (J26) and M11 (J5) cross. I need it to be in Bulikington, Coventry; as this is where the specialist I trust + the car is located.

I can’t courier it and am not able to do this one myself - Happy to make this journey free in terms of fuel for whoever can do it.

Thanks all.

I've got some roof bars to collect from Mr stanky in the Fareham area, I was thinking trying to tie this in with a visit one the way back to my mate Matt who lives in Godstone, i may be able to leave it with him or a fellow shitter if there's one nearby?

Thanks @Andyrew - that's another possible. RobT is in Beckenham, but that's a bit of a diversion off the M25. Which way round the M25 would you be going home?

@LightBulbFunNothing else, I'm afraid. Big place in the middle of nowhere. Nice seller - they're moving so he's clearing out shite from the shed. Did have an Invacar many moons ago, but no other bits he thinks. Asked him to ring me if he finds anything else, as there are at least three people on here trying to resurrect Invacars.

thank you! I appreciate you asking him about invacars on my behalf :)

interesting that he had an invacar, do you know of any details on that one? (any pictures or registration number?) or how he came to have it in the first place and what happened to it!

Sorry no, got the impression he wanted me gone asap, even though he was a nice chap. I could smell cooking, so suspect he wanted his dinner rather than talking to a random stranger about invalid carriages ! I suspect it may have been an elderly relative's from many many years ago, but that's just my 'no foundation wotsever for drawing such an inference' amateur sleuthing.

Is there anyone near Shepton Mallet who would be willing to collect a double sleeping bag and throw a bin liner around it for a courier to pick up? It's collection only on eBay atm and may go cheap.

Any AS'ers going between Essex and Evesham/Worcester over Christmas? Have a motorbike jacket and trousers (fairly bulky) to get there

If anyone wants something Shitelied before Christmas between Essex to Wirral, I have some space in my van going up, and an empty van AND passenger coming back.

Thanks

On Boxing Day I'm doing Herne Bay to Romford and back if I can help anyone.
