I hope it's a fake and the bloke is using his very real ebay feedback and internet fame to mug someone off.

To balance my minor Grump... I just scored three numbers on Lotto. :-D   Yeah, it won't cover any major new Shite Museums in the north-west, but it might provide a couple of Poundland Ladas...

Thought I'd try out that new eBay Garage function which has appeared on eBay Motors.

Wonder what on earth gave it that idea?

NES game's finished - $99,902 - that's £60524.63.

I dread to think what a mint one would go for.

I rarely have dreams I remember.

Last night I could have dreamed about being sucked off by Monica Bellucci whilst driving a Bentley Continental with a boot full of blood diamonds and a load of cocaine in the glove box, but no. My dream centred around buying tyres. 185/55 * 14 tyres. And I woke up happy, because I got Dunlops for £2 more than the cheapo ditchfinders.

I was quite pleased about that dream.

Made it to norleans as they don't call it here after 24hrs of solid travelling. I love jumbo jets but the BA ones are about as plush as a 1984 metro city x and the entertainment system has the screen resolution of a shadow puppet show reflected in a pool of melting butter. We weren't even cattle class either those planes need a major refit.

Anyway no chod spotted but I have already eaten frogs legs and alligator.

What you doing in my neck of the woods?

I'd bring the GTA and come say hello, but it's still broken. Most of the chod in NO washed away during Katrina.

If you want to see chod, go to Slidell, on the North Shore.

Funnily enough, last night I dreamt I was lying in the arms of a beautiful woman (blonde), on the furry seat covers in the back of my Maestro. It was then I woke, with a boner, and realised I am in fact sad and single.

I can't remember what I dreamed about, but whatever it was it was cut short when I leaped out of bed at 4am and chundered £21's worth of delicious curry all over the flipping bathroom floor

Just unplug your fridge. All the food will go off so any diet-busting shenanigans will result in food poisoning and you learning your lesson.

A Saturday wandering aimlessly around the London Motor Museum in Hayes. Some quite cool cars, some not. Overall a good way to spend a couple of hours followed by a visit to the Ace.

After living outside for the last two or three weeks and not being washed after use, due to me having a sore back, today I gave it a good, thorough wash and now it is staying in the garage until Spring.

I have loads of jobs to do on it, as ever. Note the steamed up windows?

The matrix is leaking, so chaging that will please me.

That escort would score about 140% on hotornot.com, I flipping love those old RSsssss. I had a black XR3 once that I wanted to make into an RS 1600i rep, but I was about 14 at the time so I just left it on my nans drive until it went rusty and wouldn't start, then sold it and spent the money on some wheels for my mountain bike and a load of cider and bus fare to meadowhall and back.

Cheers!

I had a couple of lads stop in a ST170 today, whilst washing it and ask if it was genuine etc.

Matey is after a Series One Turbo, but has found he needs to up his £3-4K budget, if he doesn't want to be doing work. The prices of those things are getting silly!

I would love to own an XR3. I still regret not buying one for about £350 from Blackburn 5 or 6 years ago.

They look great. Clover leaf wheels used to look appalling, but for a good few years now, they have been one of the coolest OE wheels for me. Those and the rear quarter spats, make an XR3.

Mine rewarded me with a flat battery today. :)

Make sure it is locked up tight after people asking if it's real or not!

Bloody lovely by the way.

7 hours on the road today in the Iveco bus, there's lots of things not to like about these but the motor is a goodun which makes up for most of it. No new electrical faults developed today too, which was nice.

It always is, mate.

TBH, those lads seemed a lot more trustworthy than some who end up talking cars with me!

Cheers marra. It will be nice to improve it a bit over the next few months of SORN.

Clearly the correct answer is water cooled but still, lol!

Amazon is progressing nicely.

I got quoted £1400 for a respray on my MR2 with the arches and whatever rusty bits replaced. I had to supply the panels, and they wouldn't do the underside. I think it's quite expensive for what it is. Could this fellow do it cheaper?

Beige Princess - decisions have been made about the work to do on it, I am now making a concerted effort to put aside the £2000ish for a full respray and panel repair.

Red Princess - dry weather will lead to rebuilt doors, then it's overhaul the carb and brakes, fit a good sphere and get it booked in for an MoT

Renault 6 - As lovely as that BX was, you were all right to talk me out of it as having read through the build thread an messages a couple of times I realised I would have been a massive twat to think about rehoming it.

I'm really, really enjoying my work too.  Okay, so I've been whinging about the lack of funds but there has been much greater interest and enthusiasm in my work from other people than I've had for a couple of years and it makes me WANT to get out of bed in the morning and put pencil to paper instead of dreading it.
