MOT fail today on 75.   ABS light and broken back spring.

Why is this a grin?

Because I obviously knew about the ABS but wanted to know what else there was before attempting it.

Changed ABS unit this morning straight after MOT. Now no lights on dash!

Spring is arriving early next week . Hope the light stays out.

That joke would work better if the youngest Escorts weren't already 25 years old.

Put up some shelves

For a first attempt, that looks a pretty good effort.

How about: There's a 15 year old Clio/Megan/Adam on ebay for £500.

Put up some shelves

I would have put them the other way up.

I wasn’t going to say, but the way they are act as book ends so that’s good.

The metal lip/support in the middle suggest they are the intended way up. I fitted a set of 3 in our bathroom, which are made to go either way up.

Yes, he’s done it right, just teasing.

Then everything will fall off.

Just seen on Wayne Corini’s face book page.

1905, 16.6 litre airship engined  isotto fraschini.

https://cars.bonhams.com/auction/29263/lot/113P/1905-fiat-isotta-fraschini-volo-6-competition-two-seater-chassis-no-1563-engine-no-6721/

I’m back from a whirlwind week in Monterey and I’ll be sharing some of the amazing sights there, starting with the auctions. Bonhams featured the rare BMW 507 that we prepared for them ahead of the auction. Also there was an amazing 1905 Fiat-Isotta-Fraschini Volo 2-seater with a stunning 16.6-liter six airship motor (that’s over 1,000 cu in!). Check out the video at their site. Another highlight was RM’s preview of the upcoming October auction of Rudi Klein’s “Junkyard,” home to many Mercedes treasures, including this 1935 “Caracciola” 500K coupe. Also at RM was 1 of 2 Ferrari 625 TRC Spiders, one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever built.

A rare photo of a young Liam Gallagher on the right there.

Billy Connolly back when he'd started to swear a bit less but political correctness was not yet a thing.
One of his typical shaggy dog stories.

An American friend of mine has been running an internet TV station for a couple of years now, it shows a mix of original programming and old movies/tv.

He's been in talks with a local cable provider about getting it onto broadcast TV. It is at the stage where it is definitely happening, and relatively soon.

I'm going to be helping out with video editing and some other stuff for their original stuff, I'm quite excited to have something meaningful to do!

Once things have calmed down a bit we're going to work towards me producing my own show(s) too, which is very exciting indeed.
