The sad thing is that after a couple of goes the dog will realise it needs to turn the stick longways… the human didn’t manage to get that far through the thought process 🤣

Our daft old lazy lump had to have this hide bone thing moved from room to room for him as he is too thick to realise why it won't fit through the doorway, he did eventually gnaw enough of it away to fit and seemed remarkably pleased with himself 🤣.

I can’t begin to fathom the thought process that ended with “that’s fine”.

Maybe they were trying to make a plane.

Not so much grin as be terrified.  It got past OK as I was able to drive onto the verge.

I sent a package containing the gearbox, piston, liner and oil pump parts from my spare xt600 over to New Zealend last week.

It weighed just under 5kg total, and squeezed into one of DHL's finest cardboard boxes.

It left last Thursday 20th and was delivered today Tuesday.

5 days......

Tbf it cost £135 but the buyer knew that when he ordered the bits.

I went looking for an online picture of Mirreys Petrol Station, Stoneykirk Road, Stranraer (circa 1974) and found nothing. Not a surprise as Stranraer is not that a big a place. Google did give me this search result:

Ten? Wow, the place has really gone up in the world since I left in 1981, must look:
Oooh - Donaghadee and Belfast - their AI needs to be taught about cars and their inability to drive as the crow flies

Ah man, I'd love a Pao!

Nissan really need to go back to making funky cars. The IDX was such a missed opportunity.

Seems this wasn't the great opportunity I initially thought it was....

Maybe the most original suggestion wins?

I've got this coffee table top that is being used as a caravan worktop but its a bit bowed in the middle.

I'd hoped I could pull it level when I fitted it but caravan furniture is a bit flimsy and can't take the stress so I am going plan B.

Its been under the wheel for a day now and it's definitely starting to go back into shape.

We had our work summer barbecue last night at a pub in Norwich.  I ended up chatting to a bloke who works in another team, who I'd seen around the office but never actually spoken to.  His opening words to me (he was a few pints deep by then) were "You really do drive some shit fucking cars, don't you?"

Nice to be appreciated, what a compliment!

159 is not tripod joint but rather rear calipers failing. Both. One stuck closed one stuck open, saying no to being wound back. 🤦‍♂️

Why does this go into grin thread? I got a Megane III loaner for 24h. I had no idea they could be specced this low, and so beat up but still running, however it’s so much fun to throw around with no worry in the world! Surprisingly nippy, great visibility from inside, easy to park, really comfortable on balloon tires, light steering but not Fiat Stilo overassisted.

A+, would buy with my own money. I’d probably go for a bit better specced one, defeating the point though.

Not sure if this is eligible for this thread, do let me know and ill swiftly remove it!

We did some archeology with my dad's files, amongst the statements, offers, harassing letters from Hotpoint demanding he register his now long dead washer's warranty, we found these

Proper blast from the past that was, haven't seen a blue logbook in forever! also uncovered enough service history to beat someone with, what can I say the man loves his paperwork xD

I bet that gave you a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside. I hope you said thank you.
