Ashley is my oldest friend. I think he started that when his business was quite quiet but he's doing reasonably well at the moment (He buys cars for people)

The question is: Did he get any further than the Saab? 500 quid isn't bad out of nothing though.

Baby clothes shite, from an era when only a select few top A-list celebrities branched out to have their own designer labels:

This, I heard on Greg James this afternoon made me lol my socks off.
... Bedford, Leyland Daf, Dover sole, hake, halibut and monkfish; regular outbreaks of wind, rain at times; good. ...

Can't find the original, but here on iplayer, scroll to 1hr09:

Excellent - and listening slightly longer it has had the added bonus of introducing me to a band whose music I seem to like too (White Lies).

Oh yeah, I like the song 'Fairwell to the Fairground', look it up on youtube for shite spotting, it's filmed in Siberia I think.

Some local Asian 'cash trader' (ie ALL UR USED XBOX AND PS3 R BELONG 2 US) type replacing his black private plated Range Rover Sport with one of these, an Infiniti FX.

Obviously the 'tracksuited thug' style wasn't enough so he's now attempting the 'American R'n'B singer who's also a self absorbed, wife beating prick' look, although the finance company sticker clearly visible on the boot means INSTANT FAIL. :D

For a change, eBay.

Put my old MX5 roof on there that I paid thirty quid for, fixed it up but overall it owed me £50 and a weekend. No reserve etc.

45 seconds from the end of the auction it was at £150. Ended for £280 and the bloke collected it earlier.

Still getting demands from a debt collection agency demanding £80 for not taxing a car I sold over 18 months ago. Having done some research they don't have a leg to stand on as you cannot demand money without a court order. After telling them I will entertain no further correspondence they're still at it, but have been kind enough to include a pre addressed envelope with every demand. So I'm taking a small amount of satisfaction by mailing them back junk mail, minus the stamp

Need a new water pump for the escrote as the pulley has a bit of play in it....my mate got me a price from Ford - £76 retail and he could get me one for £46 with his discount.

I just won a genuine motorcraft old stock one on ebay for £20 posted. :D

Just hope I can get the bolts out that hold the old one on!

On Tuesday, I saw a manky Transit pick up with a VW Passat estate (Y plate I think) hanging off the back of it! Would have stopped for a pic, but was impossible at the time sadly.
