He just doesn't know it yet...

Finished this, today.

a £200 Marketplace purchase. Looks a fair bit less 80s/90s now, IMO.

I rollered the FG beams and angle iron purlins with Rustoleum Combicolor, replaced the roof, white fascia and RWG and spray painted them in my spare bedroom lol.

Here’s some before, during and after pics.

Pleased with how it has came out and it will hopefully keep a lot of the weather off the car, until I get around to building a garage.

Belated shoutout to @Jikovron for dismantling it with me. It lives again, mate (as you know) and will for a long time.

Wot if the rain comes down at an angle?

I've seen that in the flesh.

I believe there is photo/video of it from one of my show reports in the early days.

Any of Millyard's creations are a sight to behold, having encountered a five-pot Kawasaki someone had him do. Man's a genius. I was particularly impressed by the engineering of the mountain bikes he's designed for his lad as shown on his YT channel.

I'm extremely proud of my mum. She's been doing the promo rounds for her book on local telly and radio, and despite having essentially zero experience with things like that she's doing great.

The book is fantastic too, obviously. :D

Hence just expecting a lot, but not all of the weather to stay off it lol.

It will stop the rain streaming through the sills and doors etc every time the heavens open, I’m sure.
I’ll soon find out.

Autoshite is weird.  I'm sat here smiling from ear to ear because a bloke I've never met has managed to move to a country I've never been to.

In the last week or so, a shamateur car dealer / scrappy has been up and down the street putting "Cars Wanted For Cash" flyers and his mobile number on every car here.

Every car, that is, except the CX....

I was out working in the badlands of West Sussex today when i spotted this absolute honey outside a garage in Horsham.

I give you a 70's Spitfire that's been mated with what looks like a early 30's Austin 7.

If the rad was moved upright/ pulled in tighter to the engine and below the rad was tidied up then i think this would be way too cool for (old) school.

Blimey, hope the Council don't take it away by mistake on bin collection day.

Looks well cool, that.

Bought an old funky moped a few months ago, came with no V5, seller wouldn’t let the recovery firm collect from his house (and no proof of where he lived) etc.

On top of that, not only did someone message me later saying the vendor was full of shit and not to trust him, but when I questioned him as to how come the back brake didn’t seem as good as it could be, he said ‘just adjust it, it’s dead easy with drum brakes’ or something like that. I actually had to point out it has a rear disc. Anyhow, log book arrived after the usual Coronavirus DVLA wait, and then I promptly forgot about the bike until the other day when I went to take my scooter for an MOT, so put it on with it. Just checked on line, and it’s only bloody well gone and passed with one small advisory!

Might as well get my meagre wages just sent wholesale to Bikesure now.

Given that you know more about computers than the IT manager, at what point do you offer to fix it ?  For a fee ?
