This made me laugh. I've booked a night in Birmingham city centre.  I was getting different prices quoted than my wife. Mine were 40% cheaper, and the difference for me between duluxe room and super duluxe was £3. The super was described as recently refurbished so paid the extra. 

Now they've sent an email with some potential.upgades. or in this case I can downgrade for £35 extra. 

Oh how I laughed. 

Obviously the upgrade to Junior suite would be a bargain, but I don't think we will.

Oh, and my car passed its MOT earlier too.

That's quite an achievement.  NHS dentists make rocking horse poo look common.  I'm with an NHS dentist but I've been with them for about 15 years - they haven't taken on any new NHS patients for a long time now.

Nah, they'll be fresh out of college with all the latest info and ready for the ususpecting public! Oh hang on...

Actually, the surgery will probably be staffed by foreign dentists, hopefully you'll get a good'un. At our surgery it's rare to see the dentist more than once, unless you return within 12 months.

Last October I registered online with an NHS dentist at about 10am. About 2pm they called me to confirm registration and I had a check up the following week. I had my annual check up with the same dentist last week.

Didn't look like the exception. When I looked at the list of local dentists on the NHS website, almost all were accepting NHS patients.

I've heard loads of people saying the same as you - my area must just have a weird surplus of dentists maybe?

It’s difficult to get one around here… I was almost going private.
