Driving into Wroxham a little while ago, this beauty turned in front of me into someone's drive.

Some people need a slap , who would do this

Alternate step stairs.  Used where you can't keep a normal staircase to under 42°, as these can go up as steep as something like 60°.  Only supposed to be used where a normal staircase is impossible, or to access one room (IE a loft conversion)

Not that uncommon,  but not as a main staircase.

https://www.stairbox.com/loft-stairs-designer.html?

Looking at the skirting boards, it looks like a normal staircase would go in there, and indeed there may have been one at some point.

Arnie, Stallone and Willis have all agreed to star in a new blockbuster film called 'THE GREAT COMPOSERS!'.

'I wanna be Beethoven' Stallone.

'I gotta be Mozart' says Bruce.

'What are you gonna be Arnie?' they both asked......

And were disappointed when he replied "Sibelious"

This picture on the side of a building site in Southborough near Tunbridge Wells.

I know that building site... I wonder if they've demolished the old Lloyds and restaurant yet? They're definitely taking their time with things.

You're not kidding they've been at it since WW1

When you see something that's cool but you have no use for it

I saw this copper thing , no mains power , you fill it with ice and using some magic it compresses it into a spherical ice cube about 2" diameter

Might get one , round ice looks good

I've just been reading about The Battle Of Bamber Bridge in 1943

Short version

White US soldiers weren't happy Black US soldiers weren't segregated and wanted them out of the pub

The residents of Bamber Bridge stood with the black soldiers writing blacks only on the pubs and there was a shoot out with one black soldier killed and numerous white soldiers injured

Never heard that before

/\ I was reading about that a couple of months ago on the Beeb.  Fascinating stuff - I'd never heard about it before that either.

Film of the Ford assembly plant in Wiri, South Auckland. This shows the reason why car assembly was deemed to be too slow and much too expensive for a small market.

Xa Ford Falcon Assembly New Zealand 1972 73 - YouTube

Also a pic if the assembly line at BLMC in Nelson. This plant did the Triumph, Rover and Jaguar cars and assumedly  other BL cars and commercials. The jigs as in this pic were pushed from one station to the next. I always maintained that my SD1 was hand built and this proves it.

New council building looks in use but the two big blocks of flats (luxury apartments) are near empty but I did a delivery to someone that just moved in. Think the picture was on the old restaurant (still there) part of the building site.

Edited for spelling.

Had a visit from my Dad, his new partner and her dog today. A curly red Cockerpoo called Deefer. He's ace, I am a fan.

He decided he'd take the tour of the house and for some reason really liked sitting on my knee watching the local nutters go by through the bay window.
