It's a bit scruffy bodywork but structurally sound and solid underneath. 56k on clock. Ten months ticket with leccy windows and roof,Pas and Central locking

Oh dear

Considering the alternative was a petrol Mk4 Golf, I don't think you've done too badly there tbh.

Not sure if grin or grump, but on balance probably fits here better.  Cycling in to work this morning on my decrepit 1976 3-speed Raleigh Wayfarer, and some bloke in a Porsche Cayenne sat in traffic in the other direction bips his horn, winds his window down and offers to buy me a better bike.

Isn't that the urban dictionary definition of cottaging? :)

Golf was shagged even by my standards

Blimey, dark blue? I remenber those. Or rather, perched behind a parent piloting one...

Golf was shagged like I'd had it previously in my unlucky catastrophic possession …..

EFA Bub dude……

It does actually look better than I expected. It's a good distance away in bad light of course … :-D

Zx is whole better motor

Yup gotta concur. A ZX is a sweet little runabout to knock around in.

It was cheap with a decent ticket. That's all I look for! Bonus is it is nice. Bought it back from leicester

I saw something astonishing earlier when I left work.

A Goona II being used as a taxi. The offshore worker getting picked up from the helicopter terminal in that must have felt like a winner*.

Saw this at the garden centre this afternoon.  I know nothing about tractors but I think this is proper tractorshite.

D'aaw.

My dad has a Siromar. It's a wee bit bigger than that (it's about the size of an old grey Ferguson) and makes a whopping 28hp.

However, it has 4WD and diff locks, so it may not go fast, but it goes just about anywhere.

You’ve pulled! Did you accept the offer?

It looks alright bub, low mileage, big chunk of MOT, the 1.4 TU is a sweet engine.

He's right you know, peppy is the word for these things. ZX + 1.4 TU = many funs.

^ all seems rather sordid and pathetic.

Surely with that much money a better alternative could have been found.

Something like this, although the price may be a bit high for most.

News.com au.

Not the one I was looking for - was posted on ARRSE earlier but the idea is the same - not that unusual it appears.

Magnificent*, isn't it?  I bought it off Gumtree for a tenner as spares for one of my other bikes, but it turned out to ride really well and I couldn't bring myself to strip it.

The Scottish parliament looks so much more fun than hours, doesn't it?

As a building I think it looks bloody good as well. Not as stuffy and

old tradition as Pestminster.

Good cars

I have loads of bits for these. Or will buy the remains off you when you are done with it.

Posted

Remains?! You know me too well. I plan to run it while trying to save up. It's not ideal for me,not big enough and low down too but until I can afford something better it will do.

I like them. We have two every days cars, a Nissan X Trail and ZX. I prefer the ZX by far

Getting on for a month since i put the offer in on the unit that was rejected,

It still sits totally empty, so that's already over £500 the landlord is down.

And i bet it'll still be empty this time next month

And the month after

And the month after.

The guy's going to end up thousands down and still have a unit in need of doing up at the end of it, all because he wanted top bucks right away.

Nae luck sunshine, should have taken my offer.
