Making it the base-of-the-base Classic. All of them had A/C as standard at that time which is rather snazzy IMO. My head touches the ceiling in the back of my car at 5'11 as well. Good job I'm the driver. Haha.

Impressive. The spec, even for the most basic model we got here was quite reasonable. The Classic always had PAS, immobiliser and a driver's airbag standard. Most had ABS as a ticked option too IIRC. Post-facelift even got you a passenger airbag as standard on all models. The blanking plugs could be used for heated seats (standard fit on Elegance), ASR (standard on 1.4 16v 100, 1.9 TDIs etc), ESP (vRS option), passenger airbag disable switch (option). Additionally, you could get some nice options for most models (cruise on all except 54hp) but it could still be retrofitted to most models anyway. However, if you really want bASe then you want to have a nosey at the Fabia 'Junior' from the Eastern European markets. I'd love a Junior... ProgRocker and garethj 2
RoverFolkUs Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Car throttle's G-wiz..... Something that came to my mind - it cost £9995 new and people complained about the Rover city rover costing about £7k back then...? I know it's apples vs oranges but it's a dangerous go kart Vs a usable petrol car 🤷♂️ ProgRocker and Remspoor 2

St.Jude Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 I think this guy is great, and I think he might be on BBC Three/3/III now. Takes driving around London, and all the dickheads that throws up, and puts it in to a rather calming video. His dissection of a motorcyclist giving a driver the finger is beautiful. gm 1
Remspoor Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Renault Avantime Recommissioning Part 1 A series set in Northern Ireland. I wish there were chapters as the video is over an hour long.
Spurious Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Quite enjoy some Aviation videos, used to do a bit of flight simming and always liked watching the real thing. The chap who narrates this, Juan Brown, one of the best out there, flew everything from 777s to little bush planes and is exceptionally methodical with a big emphasis on safety. Anyway, bit of a discussion of another pilots landing where his engine threw a conrod mid flight.
mitsisigma01 Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 @Spurious if you've still got a VHS player I'm sure I've got a few old aviation videos somewhere ....
