I spent a few hours on Wednesday attacking the bodywork of the Crapi to wash the 19 years of spider shit off it, I'll let the photos do the talking. 

And after... 

Quite a change, unfortunately I forgot to get a engine bay photo but that's cleaned up well although there's still a shit load to do under there as yet, once the parts start turning up.

Johnson's statement was typical of him, but on balance still probably more appropriate to the occasion than what Truss managed to come out with.

I think Trudeau did the best job of paying tribute to her.  Completely unrehearsed and heartfelt.

Unexpected bill on family owned from new Golf. DSG Clutch gone. Estimate from a specialist to replace: £1700.

It's low mileage, 2008, immaculate bar that. MOT on Tuesday passed and no advisories.

So do I just get it fixed?

£1700 gets you nothing even running second hand.

It was my Dad's last retirement car until he passed away last month. 2022 really can get in the bin...

Fix it! Are you sure it needs a clutch? Pretty sure my parents had a similar diagnosis, they took it to another specialist who apparently just did the gearbox oil and filters, reset something and all was well for the next 40,000 miles

I don't get it. Parked on a flat car park. I opened the door to put something inside (door was opening and closing freely this morning) and this happened. 

 

How the fuck did the wing or door move without even touching the car?
