Well, its here. What is it?

It has a v6. It has hydropneumatic suspension. Lots of buttons, some of which work. And a lot of waft factor.

The purchase was inspired by the e bay tat thread, but the 406 coupe got my french taste buds triggered.

In the frame was also a rough looking 1994 factory registered xjr but ive had loads of xj40/x300/x308 jags and an s type - r and never had an xm. Plus i love ronin and cant afford a merc 450sel 6.9

Cor, jealous. Never sure if they look better without the centre slat on the nose, but I miss the off-centre badging of the S1 (and the mirror location and two-tone grey plastics).

PRV is not as much as nightmare to maintain as either 24V generation.

Epic, and if it did sell for 1500 quid that sounds like a screaming deal at that mileage! Still the old PRV, 12 Valve it seems to be looking at the photos. Love the kind of stuff you bring into the community!

Crumbs, that's nice. Very nice.

Mine was without question the nicest driving experience I've ever had - it was just having to do the footbrake/ parking brake/ clutch jig upon coming to a halt which spoiled things rather (manual turbodiesel).

Slushbox like yours would have made things much less frantic and much more civilised.

You'll have little bother rehoming this when the time comes!

Blimey. Does it, you know, work

Automagic as well! Balls of steel.

We are en route to Tavi right now so I hope I will see it in the flesh. With the hazard warning lights off.

Also: dibs if the a/c works.

Side note:

id been investigating the lack of boost on the passat b5. I suspected a holed intercooler as it looked ruined. I gave up and my favoured local garage diagnosed a jammed wastegate actuator and perished vacuum hoses. All sorted and it pulls like a champ now, although not as well as its neighbour …

Its in black, with ivory leather. Pornographer spec. Its in decent condition and drives well, although a few bushes up front are a little tired as although its slop free, its a bit clunky over pot holes. Generally a nice, slightly sinister looking thing. Its a 3.2 as I didnt particularly fancy taking a chance on a bargain bucket ropey xjr for my money.

XM V6!  This thread gets better and better

Slight thread detour - the ex-HMC Jaguar XJ V8 will be up for sale shortly, if there is interest from thread followers

Think its the PRV-12v v6 in this? IIRC it isnt all that great an engine?

Had one in the Safrane.  It's no Alfa Busso to listen to, and doesn't even nearly rev like one, but it's still a V6.

Both 12v and 24v PRV in these XM sold in UK, up until replacement 24V ES/L  for 1997.

Picked this up as a px to clear from a local dealer. I have to say ive had my eye out for one for a while.  Its a lesser spotted GRAND scenic. I love the styling on these, especially the glass house, it looks like a cross of espace, avantime and megane which i suppose is what it is.

Its in a sort of purply blue colour, and has somehow avoided being trashed.

Its the 1.5dci 6 speed manual.

Has a fairly futuristic dash for its 2004 into.

Its got 7 seats and a confusing array of permutations of those.

Got pretty much FSH, and being a renault of this period has a credit card shaped key to add to the french electrics jeopardy!

Had a 'normal' scenic of this vintage in the same colour. Bloody lovely car, well until the electric power steering went! A tad thirsty being a 2.0 petrol auto. I expect this is a very nice place to be.
