Van has been all over the country recently for my summer holidays, rolled over to this on the way to work this morning. Still love it, the old plodder :)

Did the chap selling that Maestro clock-plate do clock design professionally?

My Passat is about to hit 220,000. How far is it to the moon?

Obviously it varies, but you're not far away now.  238,855 is what the NASA website says - but I thought 237500 was the accepted average.  Either way, keep on trucking.  I'm hoping to be there by around Feb 2019!

161K on the 2012 KIA Cee'd, as per the MoT test record that took place yesterday.

Hopefully the miles will keep on keeping on!

The Volvo formerly known as Mavis rolled over onto an indicated 220030 miles last night after I finished work and ferried other closing staff home. I don't know how much too low that is, because the odometer was stuck for an amount of time unknown to me. It is also its 22nd birthday today!

The presents so far consist of the worlds shittiest acrylic number plate. Other presents will include a new bootlid when I can be bothered.7212738baab9f572dd252ec1be7fc19d.jpg

My Merc 190D is just coming up to 240,000 which is just run in for one of those engines.

My 3.2 Omega has just passed 180,000. If maintained properly, it should be good for another 100,000 - I hope.

  • 4 weeks later...

The Xsara van has been back on the road just over a week and managed 500 miles already. Just turned over 278k. Engine sounds superb now the rattle has been fixed(bottom pulley). Hopefully I'll get it to 300k one day.
