Probably worth 1 million dollars.

That's a lump of concrete holding down the boot FYI.

Brilliant. I should probably get myself one of these, stick on a TFL roundel on it and drive up pavements/the wrong way down one way streets and look generally lost.

Found more in a corner - one has a trade plate in the window and the door left open. A dealer using Asda for storage?

This has been sat at the side of the Arnos Grove section of the North Circular for a good week now.. Front totally wiped out.. I think its a Polo or a Clio? Unfortunately I tend to go past when its dark.

A few others from yesterday, behind a car dealers I was visiting.. There were loads more seemingly dead modern German & French chod most were 11-21 platers, as well as a Jag iPace with a knackered battery pack:

So, me and the Mrs recently moved and this Micra is parked right outside. It’s SORN with no MOT. It has a blue badge in the window which expired in 2023. I could have the completely wrong idea here but before the Mrs and I moved here our ground floor flat. It used to have a wet room and red pull cords etc. Could it be owned by the previous occupier who could have possibly passed away? The MOT expired in July 2024. If I am correct would there by any way I could possibly save this little nugget?

Update: it’s still here and nobody knows who it belongs to. I’d love to save it but not sure how I would go about doing that

Don't the DVLA, under reasonable circumstances & I guess/hope a decent covering letter/email, reveal the owner's name & address?

Might assist in the next step(s) ..

Or landlord should have some details of the previous tenant(s)?

£25 to apply for a logbook, at which point the DVLA write to the registered keeper to inform them someone's made the request.

If they don't respond you'll get a V5C. Doesn't make the car yours but if it was me I'd have no problem using it and doing low cost repairs. I very much doubt the actual owner will appear.

I think there's a reference number on a blue badge too which should also be linked to the owner. Council won't tell you the name but they might confirm the address if you give it to them, worth a try?

I'm down the side of our local quarry, where I've found a few rotten shells of cars before. But with the nettles not grown yet, a Nissan, or 1/4 of one made itself shown

Was a big climb up a bank (from which it probably got pushed off ) and I couldn't see much of interest on it.

Have you got somewhere it can be moved for safe keeping? Odds on if the owner is around they’ll make themselves known the moment you try and move it. If nobody comes forward then apply for a log book*

* there’s a possibility you’ll get busted for stealing it, so up to you.

( The DVLA record is bollocks, Bristol were never, ever a part of British Leyland Motor Corporation ).

Bristol Commercial Vehicles (the bus manufacturer) were part of BLMC. DVLA in their infinite wisdom decided to record both Bristol buses and Bristol cars under the same make despite them being totally separate companies that never had any connection other than the name.

I refer the Honourable Members to my earlier reply.

"The DVLA record is bollocks."

Not my area, this is in Walsall, and is apparently still there, but where? Looks like an Austin to me.

These have been sitting here for ages, although have moved recently into some kind of order.

the nexia must be an import as it has a square rear plate, and recess in the bumper but is RHDIMG_5148.jpeg.1900f75989ee3b1f3f1f766930f82e74.jpeg

I’ve just realized I have photos of my own car from some oldtimer facebook group with people being sad that this car is dumped. 😅

This has been out of test since January and I don't think has moved for longer than that.

Overspray and parts missing from the bumper, classy! Great wheels though.

Reminds me of a Ford I found on Myndd Y Gwair above Swansea back in 2016. No idea how I got there as it was over 500m from the closest road!

I remembered thinking it was an Escort but it looks more Sierra like in the photos.
