  1. On the day of my Daimler Hearse passing it’s MOT, this happens. Body shop has quoted £400
  2. Helped the mother in law today with getting her Skoda to run after 6 months of sitting. Basically fired straight up. Just needed a jump start. Guy who had it before her was only doing 150 miles a year in it!
  3. Brings back memories of when my Dad had one when I was a nipper. He Converted his estate into a 7 seater
  4. 1996 Daimler XJ6 4.0 Hearse
  5. Sorry I completely forgot to do any updates! Here it is. A 1996 Daimler Hearse
  6. Collection Caper today, can anyone guess? It’s a 3 hour train journey and I have no earphones 4.0 Straight 6 From 1996 Half Fibreglass Poo count :1
  7. Little Rover update, the wipers are now dead. I'm not sure what this could be? The spindles look loose so I'll be looking at that when I get a chance. It drives beautifully though and I'm loving it so far. When I get the chance I'll spray the red oxide back to the original colour. It looks absolutely stunning at night though
  8. Took the P4 for a run to Tesco tonight to pick up some shopping. I haven't done a lot of miles in this beast yet but im already loving it
  9. So I started the year with a 2006 Audi A4 Avant Quattro And a 1991 Peugeot 205 GL which is now owned by @2110 When the Audi got scrapped I purchased a 2003 Peugeot Partner with 208k on the clock. This ended up getting roffled With the 205 gone I fancied another old car so I went out a bought a 1984 Trabant 601 which is now owned by @Zelandeth The Partner went so I bought @Weird Car's Mini Cooper S. I absolutely loved this car unfortunately my wallet didn't so I ended up selling it to a work mate who is still enjoying it now After the Mini I thought I'd mature a tad a buy a 1997 Suzuki Baleno GLX. I got the clutch replaced and did over 3 or 4k in just a few months. This was the car I took to the FoD for the first time Then out of nowhere I was offered a Seat Ibiza for £250. I'm not sure why I did it. I owned it for the best part of a few days. This is when I needed a bigger car due to my Son getting a little bigger so I went out a swapped the Suzuki for a 1992 Rover 820 from @Skcat The Rover wasn't too bad of a motor to be honest! It had a few issues but all round it got the job done. It had to go though due to my nipper needing a bigger car seat and Rover not being able to have it in it. So my father gifted me a 2010 Renault Clio Estate This is the current family wagon and it is proving to be very economical and nice to drive. It has the 1.4 Hdi in it so £20 will get you a fair few miles. Now we get to the newest member of the fleet. A 1963 Rover P4 110. I've not had a proper look or drive in this yet. But it seems to be a lovely motor. It has a gorgeous sound to it with the 2.7 Straight 6. Can't wait for some adventures in it
  10. The Trabant went to a @Zelandethtoday and I acquired a 1963 Rover P4 I'm absolutely loving it so far. I've always fancied one of these and to be able to own one is quite a nice feeling
  11. £1300 which isn't bad! Was actually an early Christmas present from my Dad. It's got quite a few optional extras. It's the newest car I've owned so still trying to get used to it
  12. Picked up the new family steed today, a 2010 Renault Clio Estate 1.4 diesel. Quite the change from the Rover. This does mean the Rover is now for sale.
  13. Here's a Rover update, I've near enough done 1000 miles since owning it and it's basically been faultless. We took it to Asda tonight and managed to not only squeeze the weekly food shop in but also some Christmas shopping. The Mrs was impressed. On the way home I stopped off at McDonald's and they mistook it for being orange.
  14. Did the weeks shopping in the Rover today. I am really enjoying this car. Turns out in the boot you can indeed fit, a few spare parts, a Karcher Pressure Washer and a weeks shopping.
  15. Took the Rover to a meet today in Portsmouth and also to meet a few Shiters in Arundel. Enjoying this car quite alot! Already covered over 200 miles in it and it's been trouble free
  16. Me and the Mrs took the barge Petersfield Lake today to feed the ducks and go for a nice walk with the nipper. Drives very well and is very comfortable too
  17. Apologies for not updating but the weather was atrocious and dark. I now own a 1992 Rover 820 Si!
  18. Yet another collection caper today. The Suzuki is going so I've acquired another daily, this time it's a little bit bigger but cheaper to insure funnily enough. Poo count: 0 Coffee count: 1
  19. The Trabi belongs to me! I'm actually @Weird Car's brother. I keep it at her's due to there being not space for it at my girlfriend's place
  20. Today's find at work, a load of old timetables. Not sure if it's any interest to anyone?
