Six-cylinder Posted May 1, 2021 Author Posted May 1, 2021 A warning light has come on the 2002 Peugeot306 cabriolet, has anybody who is coming to the FoD tomorrow Sunday got a code reader?
Ghosty Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Late 306s need Peugeot Planet/Lexia for code reading. I couldn't code the keys on my old 306 for that reason.

Fumbler Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 6 minutes ago, Six-cylinder said: Yes, but what component is playing up. Ahh I see the need for the tool now. At a guess it could be a wheel speed sensor/the sensor ring itself. Those things do love to get gummed up and all sorts. I've no doubt that's been thought of already.

It was MOTed 22nd Dec 111,643 miles now it had 111,675 miles and failed in storage although I am not sure it was on when I moved the car outside today.

Is the battery known good? Low voltage can cause problems.

wuvvum Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Chris, I've just had a look at my Delphi software and it reckons it can talk to the ABS on a 306. I can't make it this weekend but I'll be coming more or less past the FOD next Sunday on my way back from Somerset and I'll have my laptop with me if you haven't been able to get it sorted before then. Smoll Floatylight Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 Vauxhall Astra Van, parked up on the Field of Dreams. My first words the front end looks a bit low. Then found out why front drivers side spring is just a little broken. LightBulbFun, Six-cylinder, Fumbler and 4 others 6 1
Zelandeth Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 I'd not read too far into any warning lights in the 306 until it's had a decent run out with a fully charged, healthy battery. This whole range is renowned for throwing electronic hissy fits if the battery is weak. If it persists then yeah, getting it hooked up to the scanner will be the order of the day. When the battery was failing on my first Xantia I had faults logged for systems the car didn't even have! chaseracer, Six-cylinder, Craig the Princess and 3 others 5 1
