Looks like it's been a drag-behind car for a motorhome owner at some point, judging by the two bars sticking out below the front bumper, so the engine might be very low miles, despite what the odometer says.

Still wouldn't though.

Ive often wondered, who is it that buys and actually pays like £4,000 for a folded in half remains of a Mk2 Escort or whatever?

Someone who has a restoration or rally car build budget thats 20x more then that, so they can afford to splash out 4k for a vin number and a v5... and ruin the market for anyone who has more sense then money...

Brilliant. Gets pulled over for some minor faults, doesn't bother fixing them, then photographs it parked on lines for the hat-trick.

Rough as fuck.

You don’t get a prohibition requiring a full mot from the police for nothing. That’ll  have something dangerously wrong with it.

I've unexpectedly given this bloke a slightly hard time on facebook this morning, so I'm looking forward to FOAD picking this up and driving it home this weekend.

That actually looks really clean and straight - probably no documents to go with it but I've seen a very funky trailer made out of one of these
