^ That sounds like a garage touting for work, or hoping to get the owner to trade up for something else.

Most of those failures aren't a serious problem. Except perhaps the ABS, but that might be tied in with the other brake stuff. Some of the advisories are frankly laughable... engine mount has slight corrosion? FFS!

That's what I thought, especially in conjunction with "lady owner". I'd buy that if I was anywhere near it, but I won't be until the 15th of April. So another one lost, I think.

Xantia's MOT history looks good, doesn't feel like an end of life car.

It is in Ashford, Kent by the way. And is a Kent registered car.

A worthy car but likely because Wiltshire. Maybe.

I thought you'd be on that like a limpet Ken.

Fills all your requirements.

Full mot. Auto. £150. An awful lot of car for the money.

Believe me, if I were looking, you wouldn't stand a chance.

Ridiculously cheap.

99p and no bids yet. Ok so its not sold/fixed priced, but this a floppy handling French soft-top that is not fashionable. This is the type of car that the type of people buying it would because its fashionable. So likely to go for bugger all.

It's not worth 99p, they are utter shit, not quality shite, I bought one for the missus last year and everything worked but it was absolutely horrible with no redeeming features whatsoever.

Yes. I think it'd be easier to sell cancer to someone than sell one of those things on ... does that not qualify it for perfect autoshite material?

I did consider bidding on it, but then I might actually win it and have to explain to the other half quite what sinful thing I've done.

I drove a phase 1 Megane coupe, and was thoroughly underwhelmed. Felt likely to implode at any minute.

I have never driven a Renault I've liked, and I like all sorts of crap!

I've got two non working megane cabrios, what's one more?

Maybe I'm getting old mate.

More likely cos I just spaffed money on Sierra bits, thus leaving less money for Saabs in my life. I need more money.

Wow that's a lovely early ZX, look at the 'raised letter'-style font on the original number plates!
