The same thing happened to me in 2005 with a 1989 T-bar in light blue. I'm staggered this car still has atoms left that resemble a car.

Perhaps 'unnecessary' is a more apt term, but take your pick from almost anything shown here. It'll be fantastic* buying one out of warranty. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

A somewhat obscure doom blue FWD V8 Yank barge? I'm afraid there's probably a law that says you must. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Did that last all of two days? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Was well chuffed with this wild spot this afternoon. It's MOTed to June next year and is on 220k. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

This 1993 Volvo 480 2.0ES. Bought for £550. Driven for 13 months or so. MOTed (about £40). Sold for £550. Ignoring fuel and insurance (both of which were pretty good) cost of ownership was £40.

It's very nice. Feels a lot faster than 170hp too. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk -
As an Omega botherer myself I can report a catastrophic yogurt truck incident has just occurred. Just...wow. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Still awaiting the V5 unfortunately. Given that the car is SORNed and registered to an address way much further south taking the car north would be risky as it would inevitably get tugged after pinging an ANPR. Frustrating for all but we're at the DVLA's mercy unfortunately. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Currently awaiting V5 turning up and then the collection, pending some new uncracked tyres, can get underway. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Garage took care of entire fail sheet and gave it free retest. Also had battery (old one gubbed) and new brake fluid. Fitting exhaust was a doddle it seems, although part of it was gummed, so the advice is to only fit a gasket when it starts blowing. Drove wonderfully on the way home. Supreme victory! I'll be collecting it this morning and it'll be going back on the driveway awaiting collection. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Only thing garage cannot source is exhaust (middle and rear sections).@Saltyscotsman is going to be doing some Googling tonight! Otherwise, LOOK MA! NO ROT! Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

MOT day today. About to drive it there. Definitely needs a backbox. And at least one tyre (186/70/14 profile!). But who knows what else! The excitement*! Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

It looks wonderful. If it's half as good underneath as it is on top then it'll be fine.

Eh? Jaguar Land Rover are about to bring out am something actually called the Land Rover Crossover...If we could stop this in any way then we need to get a wiggle on. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Still on fleet... Approaching 188k now. Still going strong, although probably needs a new hub at the front to stop the discs from warping. Required a new offside rear coil spring for MOT, which had to be purchased from eBay as it was £160 from main stealer. New to fleet...future modern shite: Very leggy (91k), turbocharged petrol, very acceptable family wagon with mod-cons and Isofix and the general space and things you need when you have two kids under 19 months (or will have from January).

I found the three electric hatchbacks more interesting than the ice cream van and would have preferred a longer segment of semi-serious review/testing culminating in that challenge than a double whammy of ice cream van. If that Corsa really does have a 200 mile range then that's impressive. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

The filthy modern Insignia I've bought for family duties has a somewhat optimistic speedo. Given it's a 1.5T, unless I push it off a cliff it'll never be going off the end of that! Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

I think the format and series is now as good as it's ever been. The three chaps are clearly good mates and give a shit about one another, so the banter and commentary doesn't feel forced or awkward. They may be recycling some old formulas in terms of musical cars but to be fair who wouldn't want to give that a go? You could argue that any car they picked to do something physical would be better used on a school run or whatever...fact is the cars they have found were for sale or available at the time and anyone who bought them with cash monies could have done whatever they wanted with them. Better for the RS to get a last hurrah on TV, even if it's damaged in the process, than to be added to a drive ornament collection of Focuses as a doner or something. The colour of that S60 was stunning. Manufacturers must write any car they send to Top Gear completely off beforehand. I suppose the publicity does make up for it. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
