Trust me, that isn't much work for a 90 to get an Mot. You could fix all the electrical issues in front of the tester and it would still be able to disgrace itself by them failing again when he tried them

He's still asking 6 large for an LR with a significantly fucked chassis(TADTS) = vendor is a throbber.

This. My little cousin recently bought a 90, with a galvo chassis and an MOT, that actually runs, lights mostly work etc. for less than that. And, yes, I did try my best to talk him out of it ?

I am rather hoping that the seller coughed when he popped in the BiN of £20bags

Unless he is so inbred that he has webbed buttocks

I should really be in the "Fucking scrap it" thread

To be fair, that looks slightly* better* than the 1985 one which has been rotting near my office for several years.

I brought a LR 90 2.5 Td on a C plater for £150 in 2004.. collected it in a 1970 swb 88" diesel...all the 90 needed was 1 patch of welding and a new wiper motor...ended up breaking it, think I made just over a grand on that..

Also swapped a 5 year old Zafira for a (at the time)  20 year old 110 Td..ran that around for a few months, then got offered a Range Rover Soft dash 300Tdi auto (tuned as well)...

did quite well on that, air suspension died after a few months *TADTS* so ended up selling it to a mate in Sheffield for more than I paid for the original Zafira..paid 2500 and got £3500 for RR...

Only LR that are cheap enough now are Freelanders, and spears and reapers discoveries...must admit i'm tempted by a TD5 disco 2.....

I know you'll struggle finding a lower milage example (and this really is low milage, lots of sitting still which ain't good). But 4,500 notes for a non special edition 18 year old Volvo?

Am I missing something here? Worth maybe half that and a little more perhaps.

don't know about you lot but when this thread has a new update I find myself buzzing with excitement.. "What overpriced shonky shite will I find!"

Alas more oft than not someone has misunderstood the thread title and I finds only dissapoint ☹

Could Herr Bollocks change the thread title so as to avoid future confusion and disappointment to something that everyone* could understand please

To be fair, that's probably a fair price. Possibly should be in the low cost high liability thread.

Yep I just thought the description was funny and wasn’t sure where to post it!
