Nah - it's one of the roads off St Johns Way going up towards Hornsey. Cressida/Prospero  can never remember which way round they are!

Spotted this beauty at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary this morning. Only 7 CD I's left on the road according to howmanyleft. Unusual (and very clean) MOT history.

Ah, the street planner was a Shakespeare fan.

Meanwhile, in Colindale...

That is brilliant.  Changed hands in 2018 so probably in enthusiast ownership.

Not surprising the MOTs are so clean seeing as until last year it was covering between 4 and 11 miles a year! The new owner has put a whopping 491 miles on it in the last year though. That's actually a good mileage to be doing - not enough to wear it out but enough to keep everything moving (unless they did 487 miles in one weekend of course).

Not really a spot as it wasn't in the wild but I saw this xk120 when we were at the Subaru dealers this morning.

Someone did at least specify the screen.

Have you ever seen one?

I’m quoting this again in full because a Rayton-Fissore Magnum is SPOT OF THE FLIPPIN YEAR and it only got four likes.

Pure AS gold.  Didn’t @wuvvum have one for a while?

Couple of randomers from the last few weeks:

A timely reminder of why seafront living and old cars aren't a good mix... this Corrado VR6 is fizzing like a Junior Disprin.

Pineapples are so 2017.

As far as garden planters go, this certainly has some shiter appeal...

Plainly more than a little phuq'd, bodily.

Somewhat happier, good to see this giffer-spec Carina II's still doing the rounds.

Non-pogweaseled Corolla hatch looking pretty fresh too:

I've seen this around before and posted a picture on here more than two years ago. Nice to see it's still going and earning a living. IMG_20200211_124117.thumb.jpg.8a256ce3cfb43f9889044d9670df19c4.jpg

More than just the indicators - the Magnum was built using the shortened chassis, drivetrain and braking system of the Iveco Daily AWD - all the ingredients you could ever want for your Italian competitor to the Range Rover...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayton-Fissore_Magnum

Apparently 6,000 built over 18 years of production, of which 1,200 were the V8-engined Laforza.

Never seen one in the metal either!

MK1 Carlton in met blue spotted sitting on the highway with moss around its roots in Redhill area M25. Looked clean enough, just sat for a while.  It's in the same place on Google maps too.

Having been sat for donkeys years, this has had its tattered and torn cover removed  within the last year. Get it before it's bean cans. Cambridge.

Fascinating.  Always fun when you encounter something totally unknown from smack in the middle of what you consider to be the time period you had decent knowledge about...

All the points to the first person to spot one in the UK then...

In Buckingham today, looked tidy and I followed it round Buckingham and it turned into Tesco's so my guess is it is in regular use.
