Didn't know Frank Sinatra was a shiter! His last car apparently, and what a car! Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country station wagon. ....

I suppose when you're on your last legs, you don't really care what you're driving!

And it was designed as a whole with the elderly in mind, with the talking dash and helpful reminders and all that. And the beige. I like the beige.

Didn't know Frank Sinatra was a shiter! His last car apparently, and what a car! Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country station wagon. Oh, and it talks too.  Finally sold with no reserve after being for sale for 3 years.

It makes me chuckle how the Americans thought these kind of cars were what people wanted, fake wood and crap. I personally love them but must be in the  0.01% that does.

It seems to me it was what they wanted... for the moment. They probably preferred the leather interior as opposed to the fake wood panelling. At least Chrysler didn't try it agai- Oh wait, they did.

It's all filled with brown and beige. Remember computerised robots make over 800 welds to make a strong*, secure* car and has exceptional* quality* never seen before!

I find them fascinating and kind of hideous at the same time. Plus that age of Yank tat always reminds me of watching films as a child which isn't always a bad thing

This was nice. Air suspension so even on a slope the camper could be level. That's just not for show is it. Had a few beers with the owner.

Went for a walk to my son's and got a bit lost coming back an alternative route.

Loads of blokes out washing and polishing cars of a wide variety.

There was a green L suffix mini that I would have taken a picture of if I had taken a camera.

When I got home, realised that the camera had been in my pocket the whole time :(

I forgot about this Triumph Acclaim with Honda badges on it that I saw a few weeks ago.

They were on the front too (red for more horsepower) but there was someone in the car so I wimped out of taking the photo.

Went for a walk up to Bursledon windmill this evening. Peered over a hedge to find this. IMG_20190807_184503.thumb.jpg.91e094b8a7791dab4df8dd328041a417.jpg

Walked round the front of the house and it gets even better. IMG_20190807_184905.thumb.jpg.5c1095bae43ed27846bb350766d69e8e.jpgIMG_20190807_184900.thumb.jpg.1617760ee9aefd8bcbe384e788dec454.jpgA30 and a windmill. Perfect.

Currently on holiday in Dénia in southeast Spain with the wife and outlaws. Not a lot of chod to see down here as it's mostly newer Meganes, Clio's, BMW and VAG product.

Have seen two mk1 marbellas in good order being driven around and even a Renault Fluence but couldnt get the camera out in time. I didn't fancy snapping the Russian registered new G-pimpwagen and Maybach 62 i saw on account of probably being shot if I did!

However, i have managed to snap these so far.

The Super Carry Acty Rascal Hijet is a municipal vehicle which is used for roadside litter picking which is ironic as most of the side street gullies are full of the stuff. It's a case of if it can't be seen then it doesn't exist!

Mk1 clio is a 1.4 RN and is free from any dent and is super nice and is in daily use. It's mondeo estate companion however, is comprehensively fucked. There isn't a panel that has got laquer peel, dents and scratches. The interior also seems to house more sand than the sahara desert. Mondeo hasn't moved the the last two weeks.

I've seen quite a few of the Aixam Ligier DUI spec microcars in the hills around Dénia all of which look even more fucked than the silver one and all being driven at max speed and revs (about 30mph) by elderly guys.

Early mk2 golf was nice to see.

Not going to apologise for the future shite Renegade as I quite like these!

Also managed to snap a really tidy K11 micra in the local Carrefour as I know Lord Sterling likes these.

That Super Carry Acty Rascal Hijet is a Piaggio Porter aka Daihatsu Hijet that has lost it's rear wiper. Either 1.3 pez or 1.4d.
