Anyone in need of a 'Style bar' - looks like a roll bar but isn't - for an MX5/Eunos Mk1 &2. No pics but here's a link to MX5Parts site where it's £131. In excellent condition, no damage at all, was on my tatty Eunos but took it off before I sold it as thought I may want it on my good one but realise I don't so make an offer if you want it (I'm not looking for much). Pickup only as it'd be a whore to wrap and send (& pricey too). Nr Southampton.

http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/shape-style-p-639.html

Also, have Fiesta Mk3 (& Escort?) steel rim in silver in vgc with excellent 155/70/13 tyre.

Would prob fit other small cars as PCD will be standard 4x100 I bet & no offset to speak of, so usable as spare on them? (sorry no pics, u/s digi camera at moment).

EDIT: Any Fordperv points out - PCD is actually 108x4 - I stand corrected! Sorry, didn't measure it, just assumed (as your mum would tell you, Assume makes a twat out of you and me..... or something like that).

To be honest, if you can make use of it & want it & can collect (reasons as above!) - it's free to a fellow shitter. Rather see it used than sitting there idle.

Please - if anyone sees one - a drivers side front wing for a mk1 Saxo (NOT VTR/VTS) - in that nice metallic mid-blue. A van backed into mine. I thought it'd be easy-peasy to pick one up on t'bay, but it seems folks only bother trading the VTR/VTS type ones.

So it's not centre stage (why would it be?) but hopefully this shows the colour OK. I've pinched the photo from an old 'meet' thread - thanks eddy.

Something local would be good - I'm in Cumbria. Thanks!!

roof box

John, for skis is it? I think we have a big roof box taking up space in the top shed, I'll measure it if I remember. It'll be my old man's from the previous camper. My folks have just gone off on hols, so may have to wait 'til they're back. When's your trip?

That ones correct but I don't really want to spend £35, Especially as they are normally £15, The other one is different as the lifter is a doesn't fit inside the cam. (I have one here already).

Fantawstic Joe, ta.

Yep, it's for the Alps trip at the end of January, so no rush at all.

From memory, it's more square than long (enough to lay down in), but it's worth a look.

Tomorrow if I don't forget...

Ford Mondeo Mk4 (2007-current) rear bumper in Ink Blue.

Purchased in error for a hatchback, this is for a saloon. If you own such a rare beast and have a damaged or scratched one maybe this is for you, or even if you just sell car parts on EBay!

Massive reduction on what I paid, let alone new price from FoMoCo - £30, collect from Herefordshire.

Long shot, but I'm after a set of Fiat steels, the Cloverleaf ones usually fitted to 131/132's. Any condition with or without tyres,13" or 14". Would be interested in any old Fiat wheels also.

Roof box for Alps trip

Sorry John, this one's only about four-and-a-half foot long, so unless you cram Christine into it, and lay the skis on the passenger seat, it's no good to you.

Posted

Never mind, it was worth asking.

But...

I've an idea: you could cut some slots along the front and back of it, to poke the ends of the skis through. They'd be secure inside it when you close the box - the bindings would be trapped in. The box would be less waterproof, but you could still bag up your boots etc and stick them in.

Nattering to a customer at work today he has a 42k from new BX for sale.  It's a 1.9 petrol so I'm oot but I've seen it round town and it's really quite tidy.   It's that nice metalic green colour and the hydraulics work fine.  I didn't dare ask the price but I can get his phone number easy enough if anyones interested.  It's been SORNed for six months since the tax ran out but he's kept the battery charged up and started it now and again.  There's an ad up on the CCC website if anyone here is a member and wants to suss out all of the things that I forgot to ask.
