Does this mean mine is a dark blue one then? I don't think I've even noticed that they came in different colour blues.

Am on holiday so will take a pic of both the back badges on a mk1 and mk2 Fiesta and see if they are different.

I didn't know they were that expensive either but if you've any still going spare for the front of mine no matter the colour :-)

A million mk1 fiestas were made by 1979.... with 2 badges per car ...  +  still another 4 years of mk1 fiesta  production.. and mine were  still pale blue , made in in 1982   ..  Rare,   why??

Because Toms got them all !

Well mine was registered 24th January 1983 so it must have been built in 82 as well. In a few days you'll find if your special or not

Is anyone after an upgraded front anti-roll bar for a Cortina Mk3/4/5? I've fitted a Cortina bar to my Stellar as the original fouled on the replacement engine, and the Hyundai is thicker in diameter. I read somewhere that it's a sought after upgrade for Cortinas so may as well sell it.

No idea of the value, say £25 plus whatever postage would cost (guessing around a tenner), which is less than I paid for the Cortina ARB. Or could bring to Shitefest.

Plus it comes with a brand new pair of genuine Hyundai bushes!

Hello chaps and chappettes, due to the recommencement of my going round and and round in circles on a Sunday (NOT BA**ERS) I'll need a twin wheel trailer, capable of taking a Sierra...that's been lowered...more than a bit.

I'm more than aware it may need a bit of fettling to make everything happen, but WOT YA GOT? £500 or less if possible....and I'll have the moon on a stick while you're at it.  :-P

As cheap as possible OBVS, and not silly miles away. I'm Grays Essex.

PM me PURLEEZ....

HELP Citroen specific tools for : CITROEN  GS  / Citroen Ami-8 Super

Next month (middle of March) I plan to drive down to Slovenia to start on the recommissioning of my recently acquired Ami-Super.

42 years old and 30k miles (on the clock) this car is (mechanically) original with the G10 Citroen GS 1015cc OHC boxer 4-cylinder motor and the GS 1220's gearbox / inboard disc brakes.

I'll start by replacing the aged cam-belts and servicing the motor, before progressive working through the whole car ; replacing old n' dry grease with new.  I've bought new brake pads, callipers and wheel cylinders, so I'll check and fit those as required. I'll also run through the ignition & electrics, etc. as well going around the body panels, body shell & chassis ..to treat her to a little TLC and paint

I'll be working like a mobile mechanic, from the back of my Autoshite van (216k Chrysler Voyager), so I've made a list of garage tools and equipment I'll probably need - but at the moment I don't have any . Citroen-specific tools.

Can anyone advise what I'll need ? and what I can make do without.  And as importantly where I might get / borrow them from ? (for two weeks), or else dimensioned sketches if I can quickly make them.

Big thanks. Pete

Anyone breaking a Mk1 Clio?

My (offside) tailgate hinge has snapped; it's bolted to the car and welded to the tailgate and there doesn't seem to be an easy way of fixing it.

A replacement tailgate (in green) would be handy, if a bit drastic, but otherwise if anyone has a scrap one lying about that they could chop the hinge section out of I might be able to get that glued into my one.

Also need an electric driver's door mirror as mine has been knocked while parked.

THANKS

EDIT - while I'm begging for stuff, a Mk2 Mondeo offside rear brake caliper is also required if anyone has one lying around. Mine's a 2.0 Ghia X estate.

££££ WAITING (yes, four pounds)
