ESSEX V6

I am after the flange that secures the front pipe to the cast manifold. Parts book lists the same number 2400E-5269 for V6 and V4. I bought an NOS front exhaust but the flange was missing from the right hand side..

Can you name and shame please? I think we need to be warned about this individual.

Anybody got an old Capri / Ford 1980's radio cassette hanging about? Preferably an RST 21P (Thanks Colonel) but not fussy really. Just testing the water ATM....

Still got some Puma bits, rocker cover and cd player with code. Prices are fuck all and mainly just cover postage, as their getting in the way now, and are only a few more weekends away from the scrap skip at the tip!

Caveat: I have no idea whether or not it works.

Sorry no, but I have a Peugeot/Citroen 22RC200/35 radio-cassette if anyone wants it for the price of the postage.

It's a long shot but anyone know of cheap, decent car storage (ideally a lockup) in North Devon?  Local council garage location listings read like a 'worst places you could possibly live' directory and aren't that cheap.  The Rover is being evicted pronto, has to be off my driveway by Sunday.

MX5 and Eunos shite , both must go!

Both H plate, not an MOT between them, although don't think either needs much. Shame to put them over the bridge( mainly 'cos they weigh fuck all).

We've owned the MX5 for 5 years did welding and ball joints 18 months ago then let it sit on the drive, still fires up with a caress of a jump lead. The Eunos was an auction special bodged through an mot by some 'trader' but at £400 was better than a Corsa when my daughter needed a car pronto- it's a bit Barried,17" black alloys and an induction thing making loads of noise. MOT ran out last week and I need the space,so any interest?

MOTless MX's seem to go for about £200 so that's what I'm aiming for, they are both in Milton Keynes and would drive (if you're going to pre-booked MOT of course! Here's a quality photo of the UK spec one- others to follow

Apparently I-pads don't have a flash- bollocks.

I'll do some pictures tomorrow, although to be fair this shot does show it at its best.

NorfolkNWeigh, I presume they are both 1.6l manuals ? Looking forward to the pics, I may be able to provide a home for the UK-market one !

The two tone bonnet was the result of one of the kids finding some T-Cut and trying to shame me into tidying it up.post-17414-0-27828300-1380904178_thumb.jpg

The body is not as nice as it looks , little dings and scrapes all over, with a larger dent on the o/s/f wing. The hood is a very nice and watertight mohair one and the window has no creases or cracks.post-17414-0-69700000-1380904424_thumb.jpg

Yes, Herr Fraud, you are right in your assumption. Both 1.6 manuals and the UK one although quieter is significantly faster, they've rusted in different places too- the Eunos is scabby all round the edges ,whereas the MX5 just seems to have been the ends of the sills(although I've not crawled around it recently)

Pictures of the Eunos to follow on Sunday when I pick it up from where its dumped, I mean lovingly stored.

Mmmm... Very, very tempted !

Any chance of some candid pics of the rear ends of the sills ? Is this where the welding was done prior to it being laid up ?

This may be a bit controversial, but I have vermin in my garden, so has anyone got a decent .22 air rifle for sale? A 'scope would be nice. I'm not minted, so as reasonable as poss please. A pm would be good if you have anything. Ta.

It might not be that easy to find one on here, partly because you're not supposed to send them in the post. But you might be surprised to find how cheap a secondhand .22 is from a gun shop (I was). It's the sort of thing that lasts forever, so by shooting at tin cans and whatnot, over the years to come you can have a lot of fun per £.

Pikeys are a good idea. Badgers? Never seen one round these 'ere parts. Rats. See what you mean about postage, didn't think of that. I'll look elsewhere then unless someone local to Rainham has one.

I will see if my son has anything he wants to sell,he has loads of guns that he never uses.
