Adrian_pt got a reaction from 500tops in Shite of SW London and beyond
Yes - I think the owner used to be a racing driver. I briefly lived a few doors down from it. Sadly EN888 has both tax and MoT expired...
A few more - including a brief interlude in rural France. The Mk1 Twingo was the hire car!
The white Cortina remains one of my favourite London cars - straight out of 1992.
Subaru was the only remotely interesting seen in Israel.
The guys with Rovers is in Birkenhead - clearly a man of taste and discernment.

Only just got round to sorting out my phone pictures, to find that there is some proper gold on there. Update one of many, including a Gamma that got me overly excited.

Amazingly this Jazz clings on to life in a Westminster side street.

Adrian_pt got a reaction from warch in Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.
The poor Opel looks worryingly like it's being humped.
Meanwhile, lucky* UK customers could go to Blackpool and blow their hard-earned on an "FSO Freedom": a camper conversion on the base of the FSO 125 pick-up, done by Madisons. The guy who converted them says, with admirable understatement, "there weren't many made".

Adrian_pt got a reaction from Cavcraft in Shite in your town, in ye olden times.
Bedford Road, Rock Ferry, on the Wirral, in the 50s. The plate on the convertible is Brighton 1939 - it's American, possibly a Chrysler. A surprising amount of foreign tin made it over here pre-war, though very little has survived compared to the UK models.

Thought I was pretty up to speed on most stuff sold in Europe after the war - turns out every day is a school day. WOULD, incidentally.

Adrian_pt got a reaction from vulgalour in The "WTF is that?" thread
This amazing lash-up was made from two 125cc motorcyles welded together. The guy allegedly used it for several years, even giving it a snazzy facelift with lights off a Fiat 1300 before the police made him take it off the road.

If that Uno's LHD, check it for dents and paint scrapes from a black Mercedes...

Even cheaper. There used to be a white K-reg one in Westminster, never seen anything later.
Isn't the Sandero Access now 6995?

Final batch in 1993. Seem to have been some serious bargains out there (though the resale value must have been miserable).
Top collection!
