Not had much of a chance to do anything with this at the moment. Swapped out the rear speakers, exactly the same as my previous Prelude if you want pictures!
Dropped off for a last second MOT, en route the Speedo was playing silly buggers more than normal, check engine light came on as well. We'll see how this goes.

You're not wrong there.RELIABLE HONDA ENGINE
Nah, really this time. One of the best running Hondas I had (after replacing all the ignition parts).
This is a 26 year old engine - it has no business being this clean. All the fluids were perfect levels and crystal clear and absolutely nil concerns.
Still, probably should have at least checked it before driving down the country

Couldn't have been, I still have about 1.5 gallons left in the tank I didn't have a massive amount of traffic to contend with so it was fairly smooth throughout.you cant be back in bristol already... talk about chodspeed, warp 1 down the m6 was it

Home safe and sound, and 390ish done on a tank, I'll fill up and get the empeegee figure later.
That was a nice pleasant drive, few little jobs that can be bashed out after the MOT and I've got a damn fine car.
To go with the other car.
...and the other car.

Split > he already had enough cars and he knew I wanted it!
Jim > it was quality, the woman next to me let her kid listen to his iPad at full blast! No headphones!I love easyJet.
Fifty miles in, car is driving great. Pulled in for a piss and a coffee, then I'll continue.

Snagglepuss is right though for us, we're still working!
Snaut > we do seem to, not sure why. Makes for a more fun caper for people to wake up to.

Actually, just fiddling with the settings has found a decent enough sound.
I'll wait til I get home. Suppose it's time to set off for home.
Let's do this.

The horrorIf they won't let you take Pliers and little ratchet tools on board what chance have you of a Prelude, you may have to drive it back!

What's better than one red Prelude?
An absolute pleasure dealing with and meeting Craig, a brief but pleasurable chat and now I'm just about to fill up and set off!

In sad news, the soles have given out on my comfy shoes and will be retired on completion of this journey. RIP.
I'm now stood in a petrol station. Excitement level - 11/10.

Flying is arse but it saves me so much time and money. Doesn't make for interesting collection thread though. Not far now though. The interior of the bus looked lovely, the plane is horrible, but then I hate flying.
Good luck chap, if it's anywhere in the Central belt and you suddenly need a pair of snips or pliers, hit me up!

It is on a school day indeed! Days leave in for it.
I've landed. In Scotland, bit miserable up here but I used to be based up here for a couple of years when I was 17 so it's all good.

Tickets saying North! Long old journey back.On an annoying note, men down! Pliers and little ratchet tools taken by airport bods. If I could take a plane with them I think I'd deserve it! Managed to convince them that the wire strippers were all fine though. Wish it'd said on the gov website.Did see the passport in the first pic and wondered? Then dismissed as thought was using for ID?Are we heading North or South?
Probably going to be a long journey either way? Good Luck.
Anyway, breakfast is served.
And I have to quickly get to my gate.

They've quoted £500 for all the required work
Taken it back, going to crack on with the jobs and the tame mechanic can bash out the CV boots.
