Definitely report that.  If they have to do an emergency stop in the wet because a child steps out in front of them, they’ll be aquaplaning to tragedy and a court appearance.  If that’s not worth spending £100 to avoid I don’t know what is.

Or maybe they will be travelling a speed directly behind you on a motorway just as the traffic up ahead slams its brakes on....

If you see it again, leave a note on the window. I did that on a car that was parked where I regularly walk the dog. Next time I saw the car there it had new tyres on the front! They weren't as bad as the ones posted above but my note said the tyres were very dangerous and illegal! 

 

Edit- if its in your works carpark someone must know who's car it is!

In 40 years of driving for a living I've never done anything like this , I have missed a few junctions , 15-14 on the M1 was a pita once but it never entered my head to go from lane 2 across the chevrons

The guy we've got doing it is an ex council plumber, he's in his 60's so 10am is as early as he likes to start.

We've got a narrow driveway so he's doing it all by hand. Just breaking the concrete with a drill and then digging the trench out with a spade.

I watch a few car repairers on YouTube who are in the US. They use the chain O'Reillys to get their parts, and they really do seem to have everything.

Not sure if that is true, or maybe the YouTubers get a small kickback to say it is.

Yeah, that chain seems to be the go to place. I also like how most towns in the US have in stock, carb rebuild kits for any car since the 1940's. If I go now to my local factors and ask for say a 501 bulb, I'd be shown an LED colour changing kit and a mountain bike.

I remember holidaying to Oregon in 2018 and wandering into a car parts place. There were shelves of performance intake manifolds for all manner of big old American V8s, and carb rebuild kits alongside entire performance carb kits, huge pancake air filters too. It was awesome.

Just had the clutch peddle on the focus clicking , when i looked it was the push rod slipping along the pin on the peddle in a bid for freedom  ... Nothing holds it captive  !!! 

A cable tie does now pending a better fix ..
