I've been with my missus 27 years now, God knows how she's put up with me but they're funny creatures, bless 'em.Luckily I'm at the point where coming home with some right heap of crap doesn't even raise an eyebrow, though she's not exactly raving about being taken to work in the kind of shite that's lucky to make it to the end of the road.

Thanks all, I've been there before and just got to get on with things, at least I have more time now to do all the shitty things I've been putting off (ie clean oil off folk's drive, fix Astra's arches).

If you ever need a hand, i only live around the corner Don't be scared to ask :DHope you are okay, and i hope you can come to some sort of agreement.

And my Doctor still tries to persuade me to get my son's shots sorted. Would you risk it?

Yes. The diseases that it inoculates against do far worse. I also suspect that there isn't a link between the MMR vaccine and autism, but because people are looking out for a link more people have been diagnosed with it. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few on here that have a form of Aspergers - try Simon Baron-Cohen's test here - I fail to get my score below 35. It's opened a whole bloody can of worms for me...

Just going back to being miserable for a moment.I feel somewhat wound up about all these news stories about public sector cuts. I work in the public sector and it seems fairly likely that I'll end up being affected by this at some point and can imagine it ultimately leading to me/the section being given the boot and the remnants probably outsourced to a call centre in East Timor. Now, not being a particular fan of my job, I've spend the last couple of months making an effort to search for and apply for new jobs. Nothing particularly flashy, just the same money and closer to home, doing something-or-other in a tedious backroom office role. From the few jobs I've found, I've had absolutely no promising leads arise from it whatsoever. Not even a few phone calls to say "go away and die". About the best I've had is contact from recruitment agencies who want me to come over to their office and put down all my details for this honeytrap job that won't actually exist.I wonder how difficult it will be to keep doing this when I'm not in a job and with the added bonus of (likely) hundreds of thousands of ex-public sector staff also applying for what's out there. I'll probably never have a job again. I'm not living on dole money forever, so I reckon I'll look to being a career criminal, possibly a loan shark! Hirst Finance.

0 - 10 = low11 - 22 = average (most women score about 15 and most men score about 17)23 - 31 = above average32 - 50 is very high (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 35)50 is maximum

A high score does not automatically mean that you have Aspergers.

Please no one take this the wrong way But the test is abit ... wrong. As it could offend anyone with Aspergers.Hopefully not :D My friend Richie has Aspergers, and he is AMAZING at music.Anyway , it was just a thought

I got 33 as well. :?I think I'm just socially inept, though, rather than having any form of disorder.

The fact that I don't have the patience to do an internet quiz with 50 questions - does that mean I score high or low?

Being harsh for a moment, that's what's happened to lots of jobs in the private sector for years. But it stinks, I agree. What's the point of being a major force in the global economy (I think the UK is, at least we tell ourselves we are) if we can't keep a workforce going to work?
