I thought it was going to be "show us your work boots as I need some new ones."

Space savers are made of longer lasting rubber. It's also kept out of the sun, it'll be fine!

Do you have to remove the amp to get the spare out?

I have a guy who buys all the spare wheels of the Omega's I break, he uses them on his Zafira. To be honest they have never seen light and look factory fresh

Mine contains the petrol release lever - totally illogical but when I removed the centre console, there was no where obvious to put it so it got stuffed in the boot

Aye, and to access the battery.

When I bother to finish it, I’ll cut a bit of ply - probs the same, shit stuff I just put in the truck - and mount the amp and crossovers, leaving enough cable to be able to lift the board to the side.

I very rarely require access to the ‘frunk’. It was a right bastard to get all of the cables in, but it’s a good home for a large, old school 5 channel amp in this car, IMO.

The other boot is completely empty atm. :-)

I have the same trolley jack. The wee light hasn’t worked in years.

Light? Which bit illuminates?

Might be why it's difficult to skid.

This bit here lights up and illuminates what ever part you're going to jack up. Quite handy. Mines cracked but still works.

Favorit in van mode and full of cardboard, manky floor mats and old sheets as it is this very morning. There's a reason for this which will be revealed elsewhere later.

Bag of basic tools that goes in whichever car if I'm going on a longer trip...

Washing up bucket stays in the car, it's full of tools and nappies and shit.

Plus bottled water, fridgebag because two bloody houses and not moved yet, kids backpack full of toy cars and books.

If this thing had AC we'd probably take it camping on the Côte d'Azure.

Mine is currently sporting makeshift high voltage hybrid battery charging and discharge items, made up of light fittings screwed to a bit of old pallet and a combination of Chinese and American made electronics. Nothing can go wrong here, right?

Storage bin is filled with my new secondhand cycling shoes, some nappies, Maxiscan ODBII reader, air filter, lots of flammable empty cardboard boxes and some skanky old rags. And nothing in here smells bad.

Engine bay tappet chest access panel, check.

Wheel trim, check.

Spare wheel with wrong tire on that, if inflated, is too big to close the boot, check.

Nasty remains of soundproofing, check.

Rust that I am hoping will go away if I ignore it, check.

As its not in use (see drivers floorpan!) this might be cheating but who cares, behold the out of focus mess that is Oscar the MG's boot...
