it would never be economic - but is there anyone actually doing early Leaf battery replacements/upgrades? Seems a shite idea to scrap a car that otherwise works.

Not that I've seen and there's loads out there in good nick but battery is fucked ...

There's one locally that a full charge only shows 18 mile on the dash ....

The bloke selling it reckons he does 4 mile to work and charges then 4 mile home and charges .... Food is delivered and if goes anywhere at weekend uses the wife's qashqai

I just avoided  foot in mouth moment: I have some interest in high end Blaupunct for 1980s cars having blindly purchased a RCM 40 Toronto to fill a hole in the dash of my high end uber wagen.  never seen  Berlin in my occasional searches for another Toronto, or mention of it. I guess that means a Berlin is hens teeth and King's ransom territory. I was going to jump in with it's a graphic equaliser which I sometimes contemplate adding.

30 to 40 is available as an official upgrade from nissan ... At £7k plus vat and fitting and then they also charge you an eco disposal for your old battery unless you take it away with you

Not sure where the Blaupunkt Berlin with the dual controls is on the pecking order but probably up there. Sort of thing you would see fitted in Koenig tuner Merc & Porsche interiors bitd in Germany.
