Phwoaar! I am drawn to that. I don't know why. I think it's the short-lived Freight Rover badge.

Needs piston rings: TADTS. I went to the Reading Festival in 1991 in the back of a Sherpa that used nearly as much oil as petrol.

I'd forgotten about these - always fancied a Fuego simply because a neighbour had one and I always thought it had a  bit of the look of a poorer man's version of the poor man's Porsche (924)
Is £5K that he's asking  a bit high though?

Seems fairly reasonable for a rare retro car in today’s market to be honest.

Aye but on eBay? Although I guess he's running it basically like a Classified Ad to attract attention?
It does look rather nice tbh :-)

There was a red one at ACA which was cosmetically less good than that one and the estimate was 5-7K, so he's probably not too far out.

Do I tell you about the T reg Boxster on 64K that was cosmetically ace which went through Leominster auctions last night for £3,050??  Unfortunately I had my wife with me who had stipulated a £3,000 limit - guess who the losing bidder was? :-(
Gutted - lovely car, rear window was a clear as anything, roof worked, tyres @ 90% or so - there'll be something else another time....
