At least it’s on carbs not the hilarious* fuel injection flame system.

That seller also has a traction I’ve been keeping an eye one for over twelve months ( all he’s done is put the price up, not down ).

The Tasman was very bland but the posh version, the Kimberly, was a bit more exciting:

But not much more.

Interesting car tho. I like these Aussie hybrids. The Austin A95 Yesminister was also sold as the Morris Marshall after minor cosmetic surgery - sold in tiny numbers though.

Probably not a particularly good idea, but I find these strangely appealing. 2.2PEZ TOP OF DA RANGE M8.

It's quite a trot, can anyone tell me about these before I do something stoopid?

I’m amazed someone actually bought one of the fishing nets of lead.....

I'm amazed the classic car magazines still allow those things to be advertised....

^ Absolutely!  I had one in stock last year and bloody loved it.  A fantastic car to drive

Here's some funky genuine-JDM Toyotas I expect no one to recognise;

0903849A30170907W00403.jpg

Camry Coupe - New one on me.

1150080A30180824W00102.jpg

Supercharged Corolla Levin Coupe

-Also as available as a Sprinter Truneo with slightly different styling but I've always prefered the Corolla.

0703744A30171118W00101.jpg

Carina ED "Exciting Version"! - I like this. Looks essentially to be a Celica in a 4 door, pillarless sedan frock. Toyota did a fair few Coupes, Sedans and pillarless Sedans with this engine, my personal favouite is the Corona Exiv 200GT.

1301045A30180109W00107.jpg

JDM Carina E - Sexy, ain't it?

0530156A30180626W00104.jpg

Mark II Qualis- Not familiar with these but appear to be FWD v6 (possibily camry related) so unlikely to bother the drift pirates. Looks nice.

Corolla Touring Wagon BZ-Touring So that supercharged Corolla up there ^ was superseded by a 20v, throttle bodied, 8k rpm NA version sometime in the early/mid 1990s. They also put it in a "wagon", seen here.

1200288A30151020W00402.jpg

Caldina TZ 4WD - If anyone knows a Caldia it's probably the 4WD Turbo Avensis mk1 shape but I'm a wannabe Carina E licker so I like this shape. The 4WD TZ isn't my prefered choice, I'd like it FWD with the 170bhp 2.0 16V "3SGE" but I've never actually seen one.

So would I actually buy any of these? Sure, if money allowed, with the Wagons being my favourites, followed by the pillar less saloons.

That Corolla Touring Wagon is amazing - absolutely what I’d replace my Avensis with when it’s time.

Wanda and Dian live about 50 Kilometres from me (30 miles in 'fake' units), I have also caught this very bus many times due to my lack of financial stability.

The only* fault in this plan is my licence, which includes a clause that means if I drove a bus a man/woman wearing a funny hat in a car with flasing lights will get very cross with me and take my bus away.

Edit: After further research, I can tell you it is an 1993 Mercedes Benz OH1418 with a Custom Coaches 238 body.

Shoal%20Bus%20Mercedes%20OH1418%20Custom

As a man who thinks that buses should have the engine at the front and the driver next to it and somebody else to deal with the wankers who enter and leave at the other end, I find this strangely attractive.

Four things stop me bidding on it,

Money, storage facilities, time to 'sort it' and Mrs BMH....

I do have some doubts about how suitable the engine is for the auto gearbox (they're always auto).

Not supercharged but I mot a Corolla Levin for a Mr Levin. It's the reason he bought the car.

That's probably the easy bit, one of Sheffield's 1973 Atlanteans came back a couple of years ago.

At least there's room for the left foot beside the clutch pedal. Some cars of that era don't even give you that.
