At what point to you realise that what you had in your minds eye far outstrips your practical abilities and you need to just STOP before fucking it up any more?

Also - dealer clearly smoking crack or money laundering having that up for £2500.

P5 and Westminster above from the same seller, who thinks he might get £35k for the pair. They do look good though.

Hot on the heels of the Sana, another car I'd love but doesn't feel right parking on streets of London

"SILLY OFFERS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED"

In today's market I'd say that's very wildly optimistic.

Also both cars are passing over that generational divide between what is fondly remembered and what is left behind IMHO.

Yeah well "silly" is a subjective term if ever there was one, yet that sentence might well serve its intended purpose by putting people off making an offer of what the cars are actually worth until the seller has moderated his expectations. I love the look of both of those cars, but wouldn't bother with that seller at that asking price.

BOGOF Megane coupes and a body kit. That yellow one is as sexy AF.

Going to say perhaps 23 years ago when these were almost new and the coolest car in town for a young lad in Swansea, a lad had one and he had the girlfriend to match the car as well, tall and blonde and to be fair really hot. She was mates with my mates daughter, who was equally stunning, and she told her dad the Mégane owning lad had spoken to her friend and said he was thinking of selling the car to put a deposit down on a house, which seemed pretty sensible for someone in his late teens/early 20's.

She told him in no uncertain terms "car goes, I go" 🤣🤣🤣🤣, the power of having a decent car back then is mental looking back. I mean you have to admire her honesty if not her business brains, he could have bought a 2 up 2 down back then in his area for £30k and a few years later they built the uni next to it and now that would be worth about £235k..... The Mégane maybe not so much.

I always liked these anyway.

God knows if they're still together but my mates daughter is still stunning and I believe they're still good friends which his daughter wouldn't be if she'd let herself go..... Let's just say very image conscious.

It's now £150, and people are asking what the arches are like.

I'd scrap the fucking thing out of spite.

This is why cars get binned.

At this point myself with something much less interesting in the form of my Berlingo.

Forgot I'd put it on Gumtree and had a message last night "hi is this still for sale, I'm interested in the trailer as well, is that included?" 🙄🙄🙄.

So I've been offered £202 scrap and it's going for that, can't be bothered with dealing with the public for another £100 if I'm lucky then explaining every fault to them for the next 10 years under their perceived warranty 🥱🥱🥱.

Morris Minor - Picture 1 of 8

That looks pretty sweet for £3,250/offers. You'd probably want a good poke round underneath though.
