Be interesting to see how crispy this looks in daylights after being stored in a damp garage

Despite having twice the required amount of strokes, these look as good today as they did 47 years ago.

I’ve never heard of a ‘Premium’ edition but it’s hardly very original with a Granada engine, even if is a ‘twin cam’.

The lack of detailed pics of the ‘reskinned’ roof (it did have a Webasto) also raises questions. It might look like that Zephyr estate underneath the paint/filler.

So, to sum up, a TR7 hardtop with a bodged roof and the wrong engine and wheels, with some period BL special edition tat (I have a suspicion the specialness mainly centred on the now missing sunroof and wheels).

Hmmm, what’s not to like? 😄

Makes you wonder what the rest is like?

I suspect the coach built aspect of the Abbott estate conversion is the main cause of this, I assume they would have cut and let more metal in, starting from somewhere around the B pillar area, to extend the length.

Trouble is, this means you can’t even use a standard Zephyr roof panel to fix it, assuming you can find one in the first place!
