Puma - £150 - near Stoke I think?

Product photo of 2002 Ford Puma

My 1.7 panther black 02 Puma 81k miles is still up for sale below £1000, if nobody buys it today it is going to the scrap yard
it has no problems on it bar top mount, and needs a gasket seal on valve cover
i hate scrapping cars, but i’ve had it listed in puma groups now for weeks at a steal and nobody has saved it, so if you want it for scrap value it’s here for one more day before a great motor gets wasted

It's now £150, and people are asking what the arches are like.

I'd scrap the fucking thing out of spite.

This is why cars get binned.

Its been up before but think its a significant price reduction now.

Not sure I could take the pressure of owning the last known example of any car, otherwise I'd probably buy it

Current financial situation is leading to a lot of this. A few big bills and owners want to get shot - and these 'modern classics' finding few takers or idiots.

It's a great time to buy but a lot of cars are going to the bridge.

I just bought a couple of decent cars for 1% of their total cost new 😯

@IronStar. You can pop in and park it next to my Škoda when you come to drive it home!

I met the owner, he’s a nice chap.

Getting a RHD Florida Sana would be a laugh, but if I’m driving home from the UK, I’m doing it in a Rover or a Jag or… I’d really like a P6

2k is also a bit steep for me for this (he says, and proceeds to dump probably 2x that on restoring his)

It is utterly beautiful and at that price I find it sorely tempting. But I need to educate myself first: there were problems with them from new (as alluded to in that Top Gear video) and I don't think I should just assume that the ones that are still around will have been somehow fixed. I might embark on a Javelin factfinding project, I think...

That was something like 76 years ago. I get the feeling that any issues are not going to be there

At what point to you realise that what you had in your minds eye far outstrips your practical abilities and you need to just STOP before fucking it up any more?

Also - dealer clearly smoking crack or money laundering having that up for £2500.
