"Brakes were reclined as wouldn’t trust after so many years."

"It has attended many classic car shows on a lovely Sunday afternoons and some not so nice once."

Rarer estate on Ebay too - and another with  Rolls engine fitted.

These do like to rust. But the estates are a really useful bit of kit.

Anyone who buys this and puts wanky wheels/arches/stupid bits on it should be locked in the back with Giles Brandreth and Jim Davidson for company and pushed off the side of Ben fucking Nevis.

Could rape a 1275 metro for its engine and put it in it.

There's an identical one for sale in Sunderland at the moment.

I'm not sure I entirely believe the bit about the alloys just being refurbed either, unless "refurbed" now means "given a quick squirt of silver paint from a Poundland rattle can".

Marketplace is rife with wankers and scams.

But occasionally they have something you want.

Mildly barried but still appealing Volvo for sensible money. Not sure the bonnet scoop is necessary for a 1400cc 4-speed.

I learnt to drive in a 1986 16TRS that colour that my mum had (after her Nova Merit Hatch got written off by a big lorry having a moment and turning left in the right hand lane and running it over)
