been a while since I seen a flash lube valve saver, also piping the LPG feed into the air filter is a very bad idea if/when it backfires back through the carburettor 😳probably explains why it’s leaning out at high speed

Is there a different way though? You're piping LPG into a carburetor on venturi systems, so it has to get there somehow.

Toyota Hilux MK2 2.4 Diesel 1987 | eBay

Possibly some sort of scam, as two people with low feedback scores have bid it up to £84,900 so far?

Seller's description

Engine starts and runs well. This car has been in dry storage since 2006 so it needs an overhaul. It's pretty tidy so would be a worthwhile project . It was parked up due to a snapped heater hose. The brakes were never seized but they are sticky and would need work.

Gas ring under the carb maybe ? That’s how the single point worked on my Jeep, that was a throttle body but the same principle

I’m no LPG expert, but all the carb setups I’ve ever seen use either a mixer plate that goes on the carb (as i have on my Florida now) that look something like this in practice

or have a carb tapped and LPG directly fed in there (which was the case on the previous carb on my Florida)

1972 Rolls Royce Sliver Shadow - Picture 1 of 10

1972 Rolls Royce Sliver Shadow | eBay

A rusty, non-running Rolls Royce with what looks like a Harley Davidson air filter and 'Been told it needs some new fuses' parked next to an Iv*co.

'Collection in person only from Rhyl'

BINGO

1996 Peugoet peugeot 405   £1,500

Peugeot 405 td executive, failed the mot horrendously, but all repairs have now been done, and now has a fresh MOT

Product photo of 1996 Peugoet peugeot 405

I can not read FB ads as I cannot sign in. But when I looked at the MOT history it is not great. Plus one or two erroneous mileage readings.

A not Lotus Calibra, £495, Kettering.

Has has been off the road since 2006. Underside looks like it needs some minor attention but doesn't appear to be badly corroded. Looks like a fairly easy project. Come 'ed aye Vauxhall lovers, get it bought.

Hmm..... I had one, 1.5 Auto.

The [butt..] clincher for me was 'leccy auto boot release'.....

Ghastly + the entire boot structure, down from the waistline towards the sill ends was crunchy/golden brown 😯

🚙💨

All that power needs to be monitored….

This vac/pressure/whatever gauge will ensure there is absolutely zero danger to the inlet manifold 👌💯🚽

I will find out hopefully 🤞
