Speaking of 1.4 suitcase engines, this isn’t cheap but it’s bang tidy and I bet it’s bags (geddit?) of fun.

Or for £400 less than that AX GT you could have a twin turbo V12 with 500bhp.  What a time to be alive.

Seller has no feedback though.  Hmm.

I'd love a 3 dr AX GT. I had a 1.0 AX years ago and it was fun to drive (HGF in the end). A lad I once worked with had a green special edition version... think it was possibly GT500? Can't remember...

Hmm, that looks very straight. I bet it's tidy underneath as well. Chances are that engine will live again with diesel/plus gas etc - assumimng it wasn't laid up at four years old with a siezed engine!

90,000miles in four years is quite a lot for a 1.4 petrol.

It really looks fantastic though. With a working engine that's got to be as close to a 'new' BX you could find in this country. The interior is so clean! I wish it wasn't so far away/I had some money/skills etc etc. A 1.4 BX is top of my wants list.

this is broken, has no test and needs the suspension pumping up/replacing and the seller thinks its worth £1250.

yes, good luck with that.

and i'm the one person who actually likes the Ambassador!

Might consider selling our clove brown one if that is what a fucked one goes for.

Another Ambassador fan here, so with me, you and John Shuttleworth is most of the fan base.

It looks clean and is a nice bright colour and a good spec, TBH I don't think £1250 is such an obscene sum overall!

Please study the photos using the zoom in facility as these will confirm the overall condition of the car and are part of the description and will give you an excellent idea of what to expect should you wish to purchase the car.

Thanks for those handy instructions on what to do with the friggin pictures, I am sure any buyers wondering what the car looks like will feel much better once they have digested this crucial information.

No MOT and I'm not big into white cars, but this looks flipping mega for 400£

Blimey, that Rover 600 looks like something Vic Reeves should’ve driven in that 90s remake they did of Randall & Hopkirk Deceased.

For a mega potential liability car, the advert for that Merc is hopeless. They also have a VW G*lf and blocked pave driving. RLF.

This is back on again , he's currently got 2 live listings on the go for it.

Just had a look through his history, he's had 7 'successful' sales on it and 4 'unsold' efforts. Reported to eBay for shilling but they can't be arsed to do owt

Even in those shit pictures you can see the damage to the ‘immaculate’ front wing and the wonky bumper.

This is the seller’s latest feedback, presumably from one of those ‘successful’ sales:

I'm with Reg_Knackers on this one.  The suspension doesn't look too bad at all from the pics, and if all it needs is a couple of SU rebuild kits to get it back on the road then I don't think the price is out of the way.  It looks tidy enough overall.

Come and look out Jimmy's window
That big old visor shinin' down
Tell me now don't say you didn't spot him
that fat bloke in background

Remember back when that collie first found us
he'd be shittin' all around
And we'd look behind the brolly
for that fat bloke in background

I'll get the me nan's pants from the bedroom
And she'll  try and shake off the yellow rain
as down her right leg runs a river
think she's pissed herself again

Just because we are married
Don't mean we can't put a traffic cone around
the potential safety hazard
that's the fat bloke in background

To be fair, 15 minutes seems like forever in one of those fucking things.

It's in Dronfield, which for the uninitiated, is between Sheffield and Chesterfield. A sort of, we're posh and should really live in Dore or Totley (really posh areas of Sheffield), but actually cannot afford that, so we'll live in Derbyshire instead (apologies to anybody on here whio lives in Dronfield).

I'll have you know that when I got my 69 reg Iveco Daily work van stuck on some wet grass earlier, it only came up with 3 spurious warnings!

Check engine, check steering, and adblue fault. All because it was sitting there fruitlessly spinning its rear wheel.

...How the fuck is an adblue fault caused by it getting stuck on some grass?

It sat there helplessly, then just gave the fuck up. Dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. BONG- error. BONG- error. BONG- error. It was tragic but also hilarious, like that security robot that threw itself into a fountain.

Totally* fucking reliable* motoring, those Iveco Dailys.
