So, in other news after a few days of waiting, this arrived in my possession today. Collection was the complex matter of literally walking 15 yards to get it. Happy to report it eclipses EVERYTHING else purchased in the dire interior stakes thus far.

Keeping the wheel trims as have owned them for years (gave them to the owner of this when he first got it) and the battery will be swapped for a shit one.

Last year, when I took my Scomadi for an MOT I ended up buying a 750/4 chopper. This year, when I took my Scomadi for an MOT I bought that little 50cc scooter (further up) and, erm, another Scomadi...

 

 

If I'd had the choice at the time, my 200 would have been 'Atomic orange', it's defo the best colour they came in. This one is a 125 with a few extras (some of which might mysteriously find their way onto the 200) including an aftermarket exhaust, which won't fit the other one. The 'Adidas' decals will come off, but I've got some spare (plain) side panels in this colour in my garage somewhere. All of the TL models (50/125/200) had the same panels, so I suppose I could convert my other one from metallic grey to orange, but CBA.

...and because obvs nobody really wants a car with a working engine, it came with two, neither of which actually operate in an engine stylee. He said something about the head gasket has gone on the 'main' engine...

I had a go in one of those once, belonged to a lad on Retro Rides.  Superb fun, although it was a bit older than yours and had a (very pleasant) column shift.  The noise they make at full chat is brilliant.

I drove one once, guy in Rainhill was selling on ebay and I took it for a test drive. Although it had a misfire it was great to drive and pulled very well, knocking on 80mph on the m62 no bother.

Sold for more money than I had at the time alas.
