Tickman Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Anyone know anything about hydrogen powered vehicles? My youngest is doing a project on the feasibility of them and is struggling to find decent information about them. She has met with a couple of professors about the fuel cells but is having trouble finding anything vehicle related. Any pointers to anything suitable would be much appreciated.

The hydrogen is stored in cells on the roof, practical on buses, not so on cars. Tickman 1

Dr Arno Smets did the Solar stuff if you need someone to contact, they teach in English. Tickman 1

panhard65 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I am looking for a bit of help from one of our French speakers. I ordered a wheel for my Solex nearly 3 weeks ago from a spares company in France and I am getting no response at all from email or the website contact form. Just wondering if someone could give him a ring for me to check he is ok and if my wheel is on it's way. Otherwise I will be onto my credit card company but that is a last resort.

mitsisigma01 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 How rotten is it?It didn't seem to bad when I was underneath a while back light surface corrosion on underside , sills plated just before I bought it about 7 or 8 years ago . chassis legs all good . It is 25y.o this year . Roof leaks but comes with a better one that needs a plastic window repair . 2 pairs of mismatched wheels currently on it but will come with a set of 14 inch daisies as well that need a refurbishment. Paintwork is shocking , about 6 shades of red/pink , bubbling on one rear arch but quite solid . It did make an appearance at the Portsdown Hill , Portsmouth meet up a while back , it blended in quite well with some of the assorted shite! It has had a temporary repair to the t piece off the water pump , holding good , took it for a ragging yesterday , goes well , probably needs a service , and a water pump , heater works well . No idea what it needs for a MoT as I am not a MoT tester , someone somewhere usually knows a friendly one ! No pictures available yet as it's been pissing down all day , hopefully tomorrow. Untorn Momo 3 spoke steering wheel and horn button .It is cheap because it looks like crap but is great fun to drive and requires tidying or go for the weathered look !Be quick before it goes on Facebook ... please loserone 1
