A short story... A few years ago we went to the Isle of Skye on a motoring holiday. They had just built a bridge connecting the island to the mainland and the islanders did not appreciate the tolls to use the bridge so produced some GB style stickers with SKAT on, Skye and Kyle Against Tolls.

I got one and stuck it on the Volvo to befuddle the folks darn sarth. When I got back to work a very lovely Danish lady I worked with laughed and told me that SKAT was Danish for "darling".
