I have a picture somewhere of a family friend whose surname is Ford, standing next to a Focus that is in turn parked by a river ford on a road in Kent.

There's a road a town over from me called Blandford Street and I'm waiting to spot some sort of Ford parked by the sign so I can take a picture.

I know the perfect place for this game:

It just happens to be where the old Leyland Australia factory was in Zetland, Sydney.

And yet another old factory:

Whole estate in Tamworth named after cars or car related, Allard, Belsize, Crowley, Dennis, Jaguar, jenson, Jowett, Healey, leyland, Lotus, Riley, swift, sunbeam, Triumph, wolseley and maybe some others I have forgot. Sadly no Reliant which is stupid.

In a 'previous life' SWMBO V1.0 owned a Mk1 Cortina  :-P

We took a picture - lost in the mists of time/tearing up mementos [lyke  ] - taken on 'Cortina Ave' just on the road to Durham, out of Sunderland.

There an Esprit, Elan and an Elise road close or drive in the Norfolk market town of Wymondam (a few miles away from the Lotus factory).

No Reliant? That's another estate in Tamworth...

Most of the roads round here start with 4 so this shouldn't be too hard.

Quote from SABRE

The A405 was originally planned to be part of an orbital road encircling all of London.

It currently runs from Watford to St Albans so I'm not ruling it out but won't be making a special journey ( or really wanting to get out of the car for long).

The B405 is in Kensington.

If Astra Street was in South Wales it might be possible to limp the purple heap down there but it's location in New South Wales makes this somewhat unlikely to happen.

There is a Discovery Street in Aylesbury which sounds like the most achievable if it wasn't for the minor point that my Discovery hasn't moved in 18 months.

I live in Milton Keynes which is laid out on a grid system with Vertical roads numbered V1 to V11 and Horizontals H1 to H9 ( I think).

Trouble is the expansion would have to reach somewhere near Cambridge before I'll be able to take a picture of my Volvo on the V70.

Hi, I would think Rustlings Road in Sheffield has some possibilities.

Not sure if this one should be here or on the good food guide, but either way most of us could park outside and take an amusing* portrait of our pride and joy :)

I’m not going down to Bracknell to take a picture of my car on the A330.

Instead, here’s a picture of an Audi.

It’s not on the A6 but that doesn’t matter...

Came here to mention Jaywick's 'Brooklands estate', but I've been beaten to it.

Also, your car would probably be burnt out mid-photograph.

I'd say what sort of car would need to be on my road but I don't want to give that much information on t'interweb with photos of my cars & garage etc all over the forum so you'll never know.
