I was driving the 16 earlier, it's a fantastic car just to waft about in with its lazy autobox.

I've put Old Man on to Clio 172s, and he wants to go and see one when he's back from his Sri Lankan business trip.

Ah, I forgot that time the XM vomited up a load of BBQ items. Clearly, it needed its diet of vegetable oil. (thanks Will!).

That only leaves me many £100's out of pocket.

I forgot I'd bid on it and just got an e-mail to say I won it for 99p.  Well now I've got this and a towbar I guess that means I have to buy a godawful 30 year old 2 berth caravan with damp problems, right?

WINDSLAMMER, what a flippin great name

I say put that on and some of those daft wing mirror extensions and wait for some wag in a petrol station to point out that your caravan's dropped off. Then you can say straight-faced to them that it came off 25 miles back but you just couldnt be arsed stopping.

I reckon I've found the caravan I need to buy and it's in that well known holiday destination, Rhyl.  It's fucking horrible.  The van's no better.

A gorgeous girl with huge norks just Favourited a post I made on Twitter about the Mitsubishi Carisma. Sorry spammer, but you blew your cover quite spectacularly. No, I didn't save any pics.

^^ More details please.

My friend's car.  We've been working on it off-and-on for about 4 years with failure generally being par for the course.  Today was the most successful day yet. I did most of the piloting around in the pits on the end of a tow rope.  Almost all of it is 50 year old technology and methanol is the fuel of choice.

Never in the history of Cars has a driver needed a chest wig and medallion more.

For the first time since the dearly beloved and I separated (nearly two years!), I've had a good Sunday! Cleaned the car inside and then the flat and then buggered off to the beach with the mutts.

They both had a great time and Chester behaved (miracle!) and Phoebe managed to trot along and even went over rocks and stuff without hurting herself. Spent a couple of hours or so down there and talked to loads of people and mutts.

Came home and spent a bit of time messing around with my watches. I've got about fifty and since we split, I've never even looked at them let alone wound them or checked. Someone posted about a watch called a MuDu and asked for info. I just happen to have one and that set me off. I even thought about wearing a different watch - something I used to do daily! I didn't in the end as this one has been on my wrist for two years (bought 26th October 2012) and I really like it.

For the first time, when looking through them, I felt sad that I'd given some away (two Omegas and a Breitling) but I had lost all interest and could hardly be bothered with the chore of breathing.... Still, I messed about with them and was surprised at some of them - I'd forgotten I had them. I've got a lovely vintage Seiko chrono and I had genuinely forgotten it! Still ticking away merrily, in fact, they all were/are.

Instead of changing watches, I gave this one a good clean and polish/removed a couple of scratches from the clasp and set the time properly!

Then Hamilton won the GP and life was food!  :)
