Blue Peter's really come up a notch since the old days.

Never mind a toilet-roll desk tidy, SCIROCCO DTM KIT YO.

But do ask an adult to help you.

This fella could do with some help, I think...

He's applied insulating foam using a cardboard mold , the foam is applied over the sticky tape which he appears to have left on the car so I assume the durability of the 'bodykit' is reliant on the stickiness of the masking tape at 70mph

Watched another , he's using the foam as a mold to apply fibreglass over them removing it when he's made the bodykit

I am currently 13 hours into a 22 hour shift! :-( I started at 0800 this morning in the office, joined the boat this afternoon and will be working 1800 to 0600 for the next couple of weeks or so. Why is this a grin? I usually work on a 6 month contract (zero hours) and yesterday I reminded my agency my contract had run out at the end of August. They responded today with a new contract, expiring at the end of December 2024 and threw in a nice 15% pay rise without me asking! The icing on the cake is my first roffle win on here! :-)

She's been at that thing for months, probably been seeing it popup for a year now. And it still doesn't look any different!

Seriously cannot begin to comprehend what goes through someone's brain to make them cut out a structural beam when there's adequate space of just panel SIX INCHES forward!!

WTF is going on here

Quite easy really,

You're witnessing a cack handed numpty destroying a perfectly good Scirocco.🤣

It will end with the poor thing being hauled onto the back of a scrap truck.

Came up to a roundabout and a grey Mk3 Golf arrived from the other direction. Not too many grey Mk3s about apart from mine.

But it's a range rover,  how can this have happened

I think on my next renewal there're going to be new clauses added to the , you are not insured at the nurburgring  line to include Rufford ford

There must be hundreds knackered by now

I love it when Range Rovers and other very expensive 4x4s fail here because their owners have no idea what they are doing.

Which makes me ask, how do people that stupid get the money for such cars?

I know they haven’t forked out £80k to buy one but it’s still a lot of money to find every month. Not every one  ( not even all the black ones) is funded from small scale pharmaceutical enterprises.

How do dickheads like this stand as far as insurance, I would hope they are not covered. Surely they should pay for the rebuild themselves 🤔

Considering it's in the manual how and how not to go through water... I would say it's on them for incompetence and misuse.

Had the boy out for the first time yesterday. He's had half a dozen lessons with an instructor. Fuck me what a nerve wracking experience. Fuck alton towers and the like if your an adrenaline junky. I pleased the hand brake was shit hot. Not helped by going out at rush hour.

I have a new found respect for driving instructors.

It was only £40 to add him and stepson onto the insurance. There are five named drivers on it with my mother on and it's still less than £150.

I suppose the real expense will start when he passes. He's got his theory on Wednesday.

I've been seeing an immaculate j reg Camry for a few years locally and managed to corner  have a chat with the elderly owner, guy seemed delighted that I liked it and was happy to give me the rundown on his ownership, he was also happy to take my number as he has hopes of it going to someone who'd appreciate it when he hangs up the keys.

I've done this several times and I'm gonna be fucked if they all give up driving in the same week :)

2.2 or V6? As a useable proposition I prefer the former. I think there will have to be another one in my life at some point.

Out up the coast on the '74 C90.  I think it rides better than my '86 one. It's certainly quicker and the brakes have a lot more bite.

I might have a buyer for it when we go to Bishop's Frome for a overnight meet at @fraser.innes.3's place on the 24th.

I always thought the earlier bikes had more go than the later ones.  I had a '77 (I think) C90 as my main transport for a while when I was a student - that thing bloody flew.
